Disneyland at Christmas

Could you please share with everyone your best memories or experiences at Disneyland over Christmas?

Disneyland at Christmas is magical !
They have the best Santa and a wonderful setting for pictures. My daughter loves to decorate a cookie at the fire house and enjoy it with a cup of hot chocolate while watching the parade.
We try to go 2 weeks before Christmas and use one of our pictures for our Christmas card.

I'd have to say both my best and strangest holiday memory at Disneyland was having to go to work to help install the lighting hookup on the Christmas Tree on Main Street....best was being there to help...strangest was doing it on Halloween night!

For us, it is not one particular event, but just the overall feeling you get spending the holidays in Disneyland. The holiday themed rides (Small World and Haunted Mansion) the characters dressed in their Christmas best, the holiday parade, the carolers in the Grand Californian lobby, the decorations up and down main street.

We get to spend time together as a family doing something we love, and have our own little mini Christmas in our hotel room (mini tree, no gifts since our trip is our gift--just stockings filled with little treats for us to open Christmas morning)

We can't afford to do Disneyland at Christmas every year, but we always look forward to the times we can be there.
