Disneyland at Christmas?

We're deciding this week if we're going to try to do Disneyland in December and we realize that there isn't a hard ticket party (like WDW'S MVMCP) but that there are fun celebrations throughout the season. How often do they have fireworks and fun Christmasy activities or special events? We were thinking of going Mon/Tues/Wed, or Mon/Tue/Wed or Tue/Wed/Thur - but we don't want to miss all of the fun activities.
