Scott Gustin, the Disney reporter, has noted that Wondrous Journeys and Better Together will be paused in late 2025 for the holidays.

It is not clear if Paint the Night will run during the holidays 2025-2026 or if the new WOC will run instead of Season of Light.

During the 60th, PTN ran during the holiday season. We shall see.

Food and Wine Fest at least, which usually includes Soarin' Over California.

Last year, they started Pixar Fest in late-April. I think it was not successful in attracting crowds and lasted way too long. It looks like they are reverting back to a more traditional Memorial Day start for "summer" events (although they are starting mid-May and not memorial Day - presumably to give MK's a chance to see the 70th stuff before being blocked out for the summer).

Congratulations to those in the SoCal ticket thread who correctly guessed that the 70th anniversary celebrations would start the day after the ticket offer ends.

The 70th special events may indeed run until or slightly after July 17, 2026, but with Hallowe'en Time starting earlier and earlier every year, I wouldn't place a large bet on the 70th extending into late August. Yes, the 70th will overlap with HT in 2025, but by summer 2026, I'd expect DL to wind down the 70th events and switch back to their usual HT events.

I would agree with this. Based on recent trends, I estimate the 70th ends on August 2, 2026. I would expect Halloweentime 2026 to start around August 21, 2026. They will need those few weeks to swap out decor and handle ride refurbs like the HM overlay installation.

This is all speculation - it's 1.5 years away!
