Just an FYI, the floating pens are definitely nostalgic but they are very poor quality. 3 pens are $22.99

Chief Dan George had a piece of rock candy he carried around..."just for looking through"...well, I'll probably never use the pens for writing but rather stare at them, remembering all my childhood trips...
Sadly, no. WDW’s 50th in fall 2021 was tremendously affected by the world just beginning to recover from Covid. I imagine they’d have to design and order such merchandise close to a year in advance, and thinking back to how things were in fall 2020 I’m not surprised.
There are videos on social media of the band marching down Main Street with the characters in 70th costumes. Paint the Night will also take place tonight.
It seems to me that Disneyland sells a lot more merchandise than WDW. It boggles my mind that so much has already sold out before the official start of the 15 mo celebration.
Its all previews, Disney has kinda done this in the past. I dont think they want to tell people and then you show up and something does not happen

No, these are super old. They are the kinds of pens that were cool in the 60s. They are nostalgic in that some of us old people remember being mesmerized by them when we were kids.Thank you!!
