I am glad we amuse people. I could use more amusement today
So, is anyone wearing a costume for the half?
I want to do an Ariel themed one this time (did Peter Pan for the Tink 1/2) but I'm not sure. I'm supposed to wear my SunRype gear (I got picked as an Active Ambassador for them) but it's kind of ugly.

The Active Ambassador thing is really neat. They sent me a shirt, running tank top, running shorts, a visor, a jacket and TONS of free products to hand out at races. I probably have 15 boxes full in my closet!
All I have to do is participate in 3-5 events per year and write up a review of what people thought of the products and send in a few pictures.

I may just wear the shirt and pass stuff out the day before and after the race.

I would like to get a few partners and dress like the 3 fairies from Sleeping Beauty *hint hint* OR maybe do something cute as a princess.
Like the fairy idea. Last year I saw 2 girls as Mrs. Potts and Chip in full tea pot/cip costume. No idea how they did 13 in that.
As for our race... that's what I'm thinking. The course usually comes out during the summer, but I'm hoping we get CarsLand and more time in the parks now that construction is done. The 1st couple of years, we did the parks for the 1st 3 1/2 -4 miles, Anaheim for next 7 or so and then back in the parks and DCA again en route to the finish line. We have to do CarsLand, it screams for us to run down the street coming in for the back of DCA. It's perfect ~ the main road is straight and open for us to have a looooot of fun!
I read about being able to hop on rides during the marathon when I was there last year and the 1st thought that came into my mind was I wish they did that in DL. The Matterhorn would be perfect b/c 1~you run right be it so no time lost getting on/off the ride and 2~you're along the course so you can see all the runners still coming in and leaving along that part of the course.
