Disneybound-ing

I'm thinking of putting together a pooh outfit - I'm a pooh-sized boy though, so finding the right pants/shorts color is a little harder haha.

I do plan on wearing my awesome Pooh vans with my outfit, when I eventually put it together.

It's really doesn't have to be that much effort. Take my niece...just black shorts, purple shirt and a red necklace.

Late response, but when I first saw this post I was like wow, that woman in the Maleficent costume takes her DisneyBounding seriously, before realizing that was the character Maleficent and the little girl was the Disney Bounding one. Hahahaha

I also have a white Mary Poppins hat like the one DizMe shared. My niece just made this black Mary Poppins hat for me, so I'll be taking it to the park with me next weekend. :)

I love this! Really great, yet subtle. I wonder if there's a way for me to do this and not have someone ask for my Man Card.

Well, my niece can make a hat for you too, GatorChris! LOL!! In fact, she has several on hand ready to go. I wore the hat and scarf when I went to See Mary Poppins at our local theater company. The owner was so excited that I dressed up and took pics for their facebook page. LOL.

I don't have pictures (what kind of idiot forgets to take pictures? That'd be me.), but I've Disney-bounded as Anna. Painted my toenails blue with pink on the big toe. Wore a blue skirt, black top, and pink sweater. Did my hair in braids.

Ha! I'm not sure a Mary hat would go with my overall trying-to-be-manly look.

I saw a ton of Mary Poppins Disneybounding on my trip today. If any of you were out there, great job!

I thought about doing this for Dapper Day in September. I was going to do a Mad Hatter outfit from Halloween a few years ago. I wore a purple shirt dress with a fascinator I made that was a tiny top hat with gauze and feathers and 10/6, green stockings with purple fishnet over and some fun Kauai jewelry like bunny earrings and a ring with milk being poured into a teacup. I think it will be too hot, though. Unless I do an evening activity in it.

I really want to attempt some "inspired" outfits for my next Disneyland trip (D23 expo!). My main obstacle is deciding whether or not I want to wear skirts/dresses, or stick to jeans/shorts. I made my mom some custom Donald Duck Toms for her birthday, which really got the creative juices flowing in terms of outfit ideas!

Mark says he wants to do Disneybounding with me! Yes!!
:yay:

Now to figure out what to go as.... o_O

I haven't uploaded pics yet, but we have/are Disneybounding every day of our five here. Today is day 5!
There are four of us and we've done Elsa/Lightning/Belle/Beast, Silvermist/Vidia/Fawn/Clank, Alien from Toy Story/Jake/Izzy/Tink, Pooh/Piglet/Eeyore/Scar (wish he would've done Tigger!). Today we do Dusty and Ishani, Ariel and Flounder.

Nothing very elaborate. We had to mostly work with what we already had. A few turned out great, though! My faves for my kids were Piglet, Elsa, Tink, and Lightning. I think Dusty is gonna be great today, too. My Sivermist and Eeyore have been my faves. The ones I put together for hubby were extremely subtle, so not as fun as the rest of us. The Alien and today's Flounder are probably the best.

I will try to get some photos uploaded when we get home nest week.

You may always go as a drag queen. Many that I have seen out in society, look much nicer than many natural born women. Lol

That sounds very interesting. How did you make the shoes? Tia :)

My DD28, DGD6 and I are going to try this out during our trip in March and I'm so excited! We're doing one "group" bound where I'll be Sulley, my DD28 will be Mike and DGD6 will be Boo, of course. The outfits are super simple - I'm just wearing a fuzzy scarf that I made years ago, with some cute wooden curly earrings for Sulley's horns, a blue shirt, jeans and blue sneakers; my DD28 will wear green Converse with a green t-shirt and an eyeball pendant; and my DGD6 will be the most literal with purple leggings, a big pink t-shirt and pony tails with pink ball-style hair elastics. That's as elaborate as we're getting but I can't wait to get our photo taken on the monster steps! :yay:

Then, one day I'll be Goofy. Just an orange shirt, black vest and blue jeans, with a green hat w/black stripe that I knitted up really quick.

My DGD6 still loves to dress up for the parks every day, and during the rest of the trip she'll become the following: cheshire cat, pirate, Lilo, Doc McStuffins, Anna, Jessie (in a super cute tu-tu style Jessie costume), Sally, and then she has two fancy dresses to represent Cinderella and Aurora.

So ... I may have spent the last FOUR HOURS on Pinterest coming up with Disneybounding ideas for my Half Marathon weekend trip!

Is it wrong that I've made a list of pieces I need to augment my wardrobe with that will ultimately help me finish off my Disneybounding looks?
(Also - nobody tell my husband ...)

Those shoes are super cute!!

I have 4 days to go and still no closer to knowing what I'll do for Disneybounding. :(

Whoa! Disbounding what a great idea! I need to get back to DLR so I can appreciate all the subtle, and not so subtle, outfits. I do so love my Minnie Mouse polka dot dresses.

Don't worry, your secret is safe here. I think. Lol
