Disneyana convention

Can anyone tell me where the disneyana convention will be held this year and what dates.
We will be at wdw from Sept 14-28 and would love to go to this event .
Also can anyone tell me if there is a ticket that gets you in to the convention for one day(Ithink it is called public day or something)

Hey MadMouse!

Well, this year the convention is being held at WDW in August. It used to be called the Disneyana Convention and was held the first week of September (starting the day after Labor Day). It's now being billed as the Official Disneyana Mystery and the dates are August 22 - 24. There is a whole group of us that will be there and we'd love for you to join us but that may be too much of a trip two months in a row. We'll try to leave some merchandise in the parks for you!

Shari, do you know if the event only registration includes a collectible piece?
I just registered myself and we are staying at All Star Music and arriving Tuesday August 20th.

I don't know if any of the registrations include an event piece. I don't remember seeing anything about one so I would think not. I'm excited that you'll be joining us! Looks like we're doing La Nouba on Monday night and Illuminations on Tuesday. We'll keep you posted!
