I swear they were there this morning. I even printed it out. Man, I hope this doesn't mean that they won't be there when I want to go. I even have my husband excited about this.

Did you search for disneyland or disneyworld?

I searched one time and forgot to check the box for disneyworld and got all excited when I saw the classes.

Yeah, I printed it out last night, and sent emails to several friends, trying to entice them to go too. It was Disney World; I was choosing between a class in Animal Kingdom and one at Epcot.

Thank you for reassuring me that I haven't lost my mind.:lmao:

I see nothing for DisneyWorld in July or early-mid August. And it does not say individual enrollment anywhere on the page. It says Disney Youth Groups on there, which I understand as when school groups, boyscouts, etc go. I believe the schedule for summer was released in late December or early January last year and then registration opened in February.

My guess is that it was posted accidentally, then removed.

But at least I have a guesstimate :)

Oh, I read it as the same two kids taking both classes, with a different parent each time. :headache:

If there are four kids total, and two adults, with two kids taking one class and two different kids taking another class there won't be any $28 fee. Just check the boxes for the people attending each class, as long as there aren't any duplicates there won't be any fees added at the end.

Yup, 4 kids! I think that is what I will do. Order up park tickets for each group of 3....I'm so nervous that I get one class set and 3 sets of tickets ordered and what happens if I can't get into the other class for my other 2 kiddos and order my other 3 sets of tickets...that would stink! Too bad there isn't a "put it in your cart option", so I would know for sure that I was signed up for both classes and had all the tickets I need before I submit.

Well, did you see that there were classes in July? Or whoever printed it out, can you post what was there? Inquiring minds want to know:goodvibes

Yes, there were classes in July. i didn't print it out, maybe someone else??? I am thinking they released it too early. I called, because I couldn't figure out why I couldn't register....the CM I talked to was very confused that I was seeing all the classes available. I wonder if there were other phone calls questioning the same thing????

The list that I saw this morning actually went all the way through Oct 2012. It seemed like a hefty amount of classes as far as summer was concerned. I scrolled down to just see where it ended.

HTH

The CM said no registering for at least another couple months.

I was looking for dates between July 29 and August 8. The classes they were tentatively showing were:

‣Making Waves with a Marine Career

‣Disney's Animation Magic

‣Disney's Wild by Nature

‣Disney's Ocean Discoveries

‣Dynamics of Technology

Some of them showed up multiple times, with multiple age groups-- for example, the Art of Animation showed up once for younger kids, and again (on the same day, I think) for middle school aged kids.

And, yes, I there were some classes earlier in July, and some later in August, but I didn't do more than glance past those... sorry!

I am so sorry.
I only printed the two classes on dates I was interested in - June 12 and June 13.

June 12 was the first date in June that offered individual classes. Everything else was grad night or that festival thing in the beginning of the month.

It was limited. There were only two classes for each day. Both of the other classes I didn't make notes on were geared towards younger kids. I think one was Synergy in Science but I cannot remember the second.

2 thoughts---

1) We drove and did the class on our departure day. Because we had to be packed up for check out (offsite home) and get to the class by 8:30am, it was a very hectic morning. I personally will try to avoid a departure day class next time.

2) If the kids' interest level is the same for both classes, I would select the one where their ages are closer to the LOW end of the age range. Multiple people have reported, for different classes, that the classes seem to be geared to the lower end of the age range and older kids in the class are bored. This may not be helpful for you given their ages, but just my opinion.

Thank you. I will try for the 12th then and if it fills up, then we will try for the 13th and extend our visit by one day.

Were there any listed for March to May...I'd love to be able to tell my friend there is hope!

I only looked in June. It only shows one month at a time in the calendar view/list view.

There was nothing for the first part of the month. I was surprised to even find one close to our dates.

Why can't you order all 6 tickets together, and only have to do registration once? If the kids are taking different classes, 2 and 2, there won't be any additional charge. There's only an additional charge if the same child is taking more than one class. I tried it...4 kids, 2 adults -- 2 kids and 1 adult per class, different people in each one. On the final page there was a total for tickets only, no additional class fee. :thumbsup2

Is there a link for the March-May dates? Edit: Just realized these are for 2011...silly me thinking the info would be published for 2012 post-February. I almost sent the link to a friend who I would have thoroughly confused!

No, no dates for March-May last year. As I said these were 2011, but I thought it might be helpful for people to see the dates. I imagine the time frame will be similar.

Great to know! Thanks for checking that out! Now I just need to be watching for when we can actually register for them!

Question for those who have already done one of these programs...

I remember reading that we will get a confirmation email 2 weeks before the class... 2 weeks for us was last Friday (our class in Oct 28) and no email yet.

Should I be worried?

Thanks!

I never got an email other than my first confirmation email that said the time and location. I just printed that out and took it with me. Turned out I didnt need it they had all the names written down.
