When my SIL went to the class in June she got an email confirmation 2 weeks before explaining everything. We leave tomorrow and I have nothing. I am guessing I just show up at the gates and ask the CMs what to do?

I would call the program today and see if they can send it to you again. That way you have it and don't need to worry.:)

I got the confirmation when I first ordered that says times and what park but thats it. She said she got a email w/ all the rules and what not. So I was just wondering if there was another email that I shouldve gotten.

Sorry to ask again but what time does the window open to pick up tix. and where exactly is it located at EPCOT ? We will be picking ours up at EPCOT on Columbus day and I'm worried about the crowds. (our actual program is at AK the next day)

Final few questions for anyone who has done a class already.:)

Forgive me.. we leave in 36 hours to drive 6 hours and spend 2 nights in another city for a wedding. After driving another 6 hours we get on a plane to go to Disney! So I am in the middle of last minute prep with all of the packing, cat sitter stuff, getting the back to school stuff ready, wedding outfits, blah blah blah...
So I am a little frantic and wanted to check .. What do I need for the day of the class?
My email confirmation, tickets.. Is that it? Do I want water bottles (don't know if we'll be outside at all)? Do we need to bring photo I.D. for everyone? Do we need to bring the credit card we purchased the tickets with?

I just want to prepare everything now so I don't forget a thing:)

Are you doing the Epcot class on the 29th? My dh will be there with our 8 yo bog/girl twins. I am taking our 6 yo dd to the princess breakfast in Norway while he takes them to the class. Have a safe trip!

No photo ID's for everyone,it isn't necessary but I did have to show my drivers license when I picked up tickets at Will Call (I was listed as the person who ordered & would pickup) and have the credit card handy too as they did ask for mine and be careful because we had an inexperienced CM at Will Call who was ready to charge my card again :scared1:

And we did each take a water bottle with us and saw that some parents of the younger kids in our group had small snacks ( granola bar, trail mix ) which 1 or 2 of these younger kids asked their parent for at some point; our class CM stated at the beginning that we wouldn't be stopping for ice cream, churros, waiting for fries to be cooked up etc. (lol !) and that we would only have a very short few minutes to grab a drink at nearby counter serve when we made a bathroom pit stop around the half way point of the class.

Have a great time :goodvibes

Just enrolled DD12 and myself for the Everyday Chemistry class on Sept. 23! I am so excited about this  So glad I stumbled across the YES programs through reading the disboards last year when we were getting ready for our Dec. 2010 trip. We couldn't do it then, since they don't offer it in December, but I knew I'd want to do it eventually.

Is anyone else here signed up for the same class/date as us? Or does anyone have a review of the Everyday Chemistry class?

I have another question, too. I tried to search on here, but could not find a clear answer. Do we have to pick up tickets at will call (is that different than the guest relations windows)? We will be staying at the Swan and I would love to pick up the tickets at the IG guest relations booth on our arrival evening. Or do I have to pick them up at the front of the park if "will call" is different? Also, I saw somewhere that will call windows close at 2pm, does this mean I can't get our tickets after that time?

Thanks much!
Pam :)

Leaving tomorrow and I just realized I never got the final email confirmation either.I have my original one, do I really need the other one-I have a million things to do today and don't feel like calling if I don't need too.Maybe I will just call when I get there-our class isn't till Monday.Anyone else just gone without receiving the email 2 weeks prior?TIA

Our class is on 8/29 and we haven't received anything since the day we booked in March.

Last year, I got a final confirmation a week or so before we left. This year I didn't get anything. I think there are too many classes now to send that out. We took the original email confirmation, but didn't need it.

Can my YES tickets be picked up in Downtown Disney at one of the booths where you buy Disney tickets?

When we picked up our tickets at DTD we picked them up at the Guest Services window at Discovery Quest.

Just wanted to add because I called about this a few days ago...There are 2 Guest Services locations at DtD, one at DisneyQuest and one on the other end in the Marketplace. The one in the Marketplace should be open every night as late as all the restaurants which is usually 11pm or later (sometimes 1am). I did not confirm, but I think the Disney Quest guest services is open the same hours as DQ, which again is about 11pm each night. The times for each week are listed in the Times Guide published on Sundays.

I was wondering if feb was an open enrollment month? I saw someone asked but I never saw the answer. Also wondering when they open enrollment? I'm only seeing through Oct now-is that right? How many people do you need to try to make a class? I thought I saw some people getting together on here and getting their own class before. Can you make a class with people you don't know? Just wondering the rules and chances of that being possible?

We are currently trying to pin down dates for our June 2012 trip and would like to be able to take a couple of classes. Can anyone tell me when the classes in June usually begin (or began June 2011). I know you can use tickets 7 days prior, and since we will be there, I could postpone arrival a few days if necessary.

Is there a chart showing June 2011 classes offered? I do not see this now on the website for Disney Youth.

Thanks.

This year the first class in June was June 14. I know because we had to extend our trip (initially June 5-10) to leave on the 14th so we could do the class that day.

Anyone know if the current list of classes is pretty solid or if they miight add more? The options in Dec are pretty slim and I would love for DS to have the opportunity to do this!

Has anyone attended a class in January? We will be there the first week of January and I would really love for my son to attend a class, but I'm not sure if they will be offered. I know the schedule is not out yet for 2012.

Thanks!
