Disney YES Program Open to non-groups

Hi- hoping someone can help me- very long thread to read though!

Can we do this?

We have a MYW package with tickets booked. I'd like to change it to room only which I know I can do.

Our dates are 8/16 to 8/23...

If DS10 takes a class, could I buy tickets for the three of us using this program? Also what is the ticket max? My sis and her family have one child but a party of four? Could he attend and they buy tickets for the 4 of them?

Also can we make the 5 day ticket an 8 day ticket and can we take the class on the last day of the trip, middle of the trip or at any point?

I tried to call this morning but the yes office is closed...

Thanks!

Rachael

All the classes for your dates are closed at this point. I think they have been full for several months. Sorry.....

Does anyone know when will the spring classes be released? Is the entire year listed together or do they release classes on a seasonal basis? thanks

WOO HOO just registered for OCT 3rd. 6 day park hopper for 5 $867.40 would have been $1532 through disney. Saved $664 OMG:banana::banana::banana::banana:
Did you sign up for an individual enrollment class? How did you sign up for the Oct. 3rd class when it still says "Registration Coming Soon"?

It was under homeschool days. I am not a homeschooler but the Disney rep told me it was open to everyone.

The rep I spoke with a month ago actually emailed me yesterday that registration was open
QTY5 6-Day Home School Days Hopper Package Six days' admission to Walt Disney World® Resort Theme Parks, with the opportunity to visit multiple Parks on the same day as many times as you'd like. 173.48 Total 867.40

Interesting. Is this at 10:00am? Does it last 3 hours like the other classes?

Actually the post I referred to was #2985 on page 199. It linked to a fairly recent post (within the last couple weeks) where Chesire answered someones question about picking up YES park tickets. He implied that anything that can be done at the park windows could be done at other Ticket windows (waterpark/ DTD/ etc). Just wanted to see if anyone has actually done it elsewhere.

WVMomof3: That was my post that you were referring to. It seems from Chesire Figment's answer that the YES tickets can be picked up at any of the ticket windows plus guest services at the resorts. We arrive at VWL next Saturday  so I will be sure and post about picking up the YES tickets.

There is no way to apply the Y.E.S tickets to your KTTW cards. They told us that no resort or even concierge can do that.

The tickets are thin paper and we had problems after the third day getting them to work in the Fast Pass machines. We ended up getting temporary fast passes valid for the day only at one park so we did not have to keep asking for help at the Fast Pass machines.

So how does this work? Do you go to guest relations and get a fastpass that is good on all the rides all day? Do you do this with each park? Just wanted to know how this is handled cause Im sure our tickets will get messed up during the time we have them :)

DS and I both used our YES tickets for the whole 7 days and had no problems at the entrance gates or FP machines. The are made out of the same stuf fregular WDW tickets are made of when they are not attached to your KTTW. I think it is called tyvek. Guest services at the parks should be able to replace them if they are giving you trouble.

Same here. We've used YES tickets for two trips, and had regular tickets made of the same stuff numerous times. We've never had a problem with them. I even had an AP made of the same stuff before that lasted me an entire year with no problems. :thumbsup2

Thanks! Will be interested to see what your results are. As I said, we were thinking of hitting DisneyQuest or Waterpark first day and we are staying off site. Just seems like it would be a pain to have to go to a park window when we are not actually going into the park.

We leave in 3 weeks! Have fun on your trip.

I had read the same post that you refer to and I took it that he was referring to the additional tickets that the friend of the person posting had, so the three regular park tics, not the YES tics. If it turns out we can pick them up at the resort on arrival, I'd be thrilled. I can't wait to hear what people's experience once they've arrived is!

Knowing that the YES ticket confirmation e mail said to pick them up at the parks will call or ticket windows I made an attempt to pick our YES tickets up at WL when we arrived back on June 15th but it was a no go. I went over to MK will call and picked them up with no problem. Believe a earlier poster was inquiring about the type of tickets and durability and ours were the paper or I believe the tyvek type of tickets. We had no problems with ours and they were quite durable. We fass passed them to death while we were there! Also we didnt have to do any finger scanning while entering the parks. Only difference was that concierge couldnt add them to the room key. Worked like any other park hopper weve had.

I think you may have answered my original question: Can you pick up YES tickets at MK rather than the TTC?

We are taking the resort bus to MK on the first day; arriving late evening the night before. It'd be a hassle to go to the TTC.

We picked up the Y.E.S. tickets at the Will Call window to the right of the MK entrance.

A couple of years ago we picked up our Will Call tickets at Guest Services at Disney Quest. Last year we picked them up at MK, so they could've changed the Disney Quest thing since then.

We checked in early and went to WPE for lunch ( :lovestruc ), so we picked them up at DTD.

It's still the same since I called the YES office to check my valid dates and was told Disney Quest was and option. I called DQ and verified to make sure since we're planning on arriving at FW in early afternoon, set up our site, head to HOB(with a restaurant.com certificate:)) for dinner and YES ticket pickup then a relaxed evening watching the water parade on the beach at FW. I'd be lost without the disboards!

Luckily my family had our YES tickets shipped to us back in March, but the family travelling with us needs to pick up 3 YES tickets and 3 regular tickets. I'm the planner of the group so we will attempt to get the tickets at WL and if not we are planning on MK later that day. I will try to post next Saturday with our results!

Wishing you luck with getting them at WL because I tried about 3 weeks ago when we arrived and was told no. Matter of fact WL was short on staffing and the MGR checked us in and he said Y.E.S tickets are in a system they dont have access too.
