Disney YES Program Open to non-groups

Does anyone know if there is a problem with a last minute change in which adult attends the class? I'm signing up my husband to go with our oldest son, but can we change that to have me attend the class if there is a problem?

I'm seeing that all are open...maybe that was another glitch?

Also was able to get through and see that you can register two parents with one child...also appears that both parents of an only child can attend the program as well. "You may not have more adults attending a program than students, except for the case of two parents with an only child."

There was some question at a point that this was a date for the home schooling program. The individual enrolment classes, until very recently, did not have dates between September 24 and October 9. I believe one of the other posters on this thread spoke to someone about that. May be another glitch that they will correct (ie. remove them from the individual list).

They also added more for Oct 3rd/4th. There was nothing that week I thought. There was one lonely Homeschool class Oct 3rd ( something with food) but now they have added about 5 classes Oct 4th under Individual enrollment and 1 to Oct 3rd

We'll have to see how the homeschooling date question plays out...I wouldn't count on those dates, though. If they come through for the individual classes it would be a bonus. I would love it if they did because it would make our dates more flexible.

I can;t even find this date anywhere...when I try and buy tickets or register the 30th isn't on my page. Do you have a link to the page before you get to his one?

Darn .. wish I would have known this sooner as I would have signed both myself and DH up to join DD (age 9.5) for the class at Epcot in August. As it stands, I just registered one of us to attend the class and figured the other would have to wander aimlessly until the class was over. We are staying off-site so will all have to go to the park together.

Darn .. wish I would have known this sooner as I would have signed both myself and DH up to join DD (age 9.5) for the class at Epcot in August. As it stands, I just registered one of us to attend the class and figured the other would have to wander aimlessly until the class was over. We are staying off-site so will all have to go to the park together.

We're doing the same. DH or I will be attending that class with our twins and the other one of us will be hanging out with our 6 year old. I am sure she will enjoy the time alone with one of us

Nope sorry, that's not how it works in this case. Several people have been told by YES CMs that there are no open enrollment classes for Nov or Dec. Feel free to call and ask again though. Things could always change.

To a previous poster...there are no classes to be scheduled in November or December. I called and asked about it a while back. This is why we decided to go in October instead of November.

For the previous poster asking about December, this is the same answer I have seen on here several times in the last 2 months.

I think due to the large number of GROUP programs that are scheduled March-June and Nov.-Dec. that they will most likely never schedule Individual enrollment during those times. But like others have said- you never know.

I called yesterday and spoke to one of the CMs in the YES program...she was so nice and walked me through a couple of things (of how to get to see that you can do 8 days) but she said to keep checking the website at least once a week because you never know...so I am staying positive (at least for November classes I am staying positive)
