I posted this a couple days ago....Just quoting myself so people can read the actual Instructions from the online Registration process for Sept and Oct:

Just thought I would post some info from the Registration process. These are the messages on the screens as you go through all the steps:

HTH!:flower3:

I was not able to get tickets for 3 adults and 2 students today, only 2 students and 2 adults, so I attempted to go back in and put in 2 adults and 1 child like you have just for the heck of it, and the website would not let me even move to the next page. I got a popup instead. How did you get around that? Did it require you to check a box like it did me? I'm not doubting you, just want to wade through all the confusing information. Kudos to you for getting that deal.

This is what was on the first screen that prevented me from doing that:

I would call and talk to someone. If you get someone that is not familiar with individual enrollment vs. group and they tell you one to one ratio...Call back. They seem to be trying to fix the website...:surfweb::confused3

This whole change needs a little more pixiedust:

Does anyone know if/when they have classes in December? Specifically the week after Thanksgiving and a class a 6 yr old can attend.

Where did you call? No Jerrod on the youth team... the number should be 888-779-1757 option 3. Most common people that answer would be Amanda J, Ashley (not there anymore), Robby, Paul, Ryan, Rolando, Sandy, Darlene, Amanda C, and Heidi. But yes, you should be ok with immediate family only (siblings, parents). Grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, ect are a no-go. The "official" word is 1-to-1 student to parent ratio, but as long as it's immediate family, there seems to be an exception...

I called the number that's on the Yes website. A lady answered (don't remember her name,) but she tried walking me through it twice and it still didn't work. She then transferred me to a guy named Jerrod, and he's the one that told me how to do it and make it work.

As far as being charged after they review it...my card was charged immediately, so I can't imagine they were able to review it that quickly. I still haven't heard anything back from the number at the bottom of my confirmation page in regards to getting the tickets shipped/if our order is okay even though we only have 2 kids attending the class, but have ordered and paid for 6 tickets. We'll see what happens.

I never got a call or anything. 2 or 2 1/2 weeks after I made the order and my card was charged the tickets arrived via Fedex. The invoice was included in the package that was delivered.

That's exactly the reason. You can buy only as many adult tickets as you have kids. So, 3 kids and 2 adults is just fine, for a total of 5. However, 2 kids and 3 adults, again a total of 5, would not work. With that scenario you could only get 4 tickets and would have to purchase the 5th elsewhere.

Is this something new? I know this is the case if you go with your own group, one extra ticket for every kid enrolled. But I thought with open enrollment, there was no limit. We enrolled our kids in a June class, signed up and bought a couple months ago. We enrolled 3 kids but bought 7 tickets with no problem. (We have 2 teenagers also that aren't doing a class.) So have they recently changed this?

Yes they have changed the website and apparently the policy on number of tickets per child enrolled in class (one adult per child in class so 2 kids in class 2 adults) Im not sure what they are doing for siblings.

When I called yesterday I asked Amanda if there were changes that started yesterday (because that's what I had implied from a post on this thread) and she said that the changes didn't start yesterday but that there had been changes made from this summer.

Has anyone done the Wild by Design class yet? We just signed up for this for October and are really excited about the class! The discounted tickets is a huge bonus, too, but we are super excited about the class! :cool1: We are going October 25th, anyone else going that day?

Sept and Oct registration (sort of) opened up last friday.
I was able to register my family of 5 (2 adults & 3 students) for the Wild by Nature class on Oct 25th and purchase 8 day Park-Hoppers.:yay:

Hey we just signed up for that class, we are from WI AND we are a family of 2 adults and 3 students as well! Too funny! We will see you there!

To a previous poster...there are no classes to be scheduled in November or December. I called and asked about it a while back. This is why we decided to go in October instead of November.

Does anyone know when the January 2012 Individual Enrollment dates will be available?

We are participating in a YES program in Sept and I know this has been mentioned before but are the YES program tied to finger prints like the regular park tickets. Should I write our names on them after first use or can they be used by whomever in the group. Also are they marked child and adult or are they all the same?

I email them earlier and they responded in part: "Programs for 2012 should be announced in the fall."

Yes I believe I read in here that they are the same tickets tied to fingerprints.
And DO write names on them. We had tyvek tickets on our last trip and Ds and I went to DisneyQuest while DH and DD stayed at the hotel and we had no idea when we got back which tickets we had used.:headache:
We were able to straighten it out at Guest Services but it was an extra stop we didn't have to make the next morning had I just written the names on them.

So for those that have more adults than children should probably call an ask for Jerrod. He seems to be the one helping the most people figure it out.

:yay:Yay for Jerrod!:banana::cheer2:

Just wanted to post an update of what I've learned. I never did receive a response from the email I sent to the "student guest service." Not the actual Yes program website contact info. but the contact info. from my confirmation page. I just called them, and they said that they no longer mail out the tickets (you have to pick them up at will call,) however only the person listed as the pick-up person has to be present. I also explained that I had heard different things about how many tickets you could get/who qualifies. -I ordered tickets for 3 kids (only 2 attending the class,) and 3 adults -2 are the parents of the kids and one is for the grandmother-also the one attending the class with the older 2 kids. He looked up my order, said that I've already been charged for the tickets, and that I would receive all 6 tickets. I asked him about the future, and he said I'd have to call the Yes office (contact info. from the Yes website) to confirm who will qualify in the future. I explained that I was still concerned, because he couldn't give me a direct answer about the grandmother ect., and he said again, that my card had already been charged, and my order had already gone through, and that when I go to pick up my tickets in Sept., I'll receive all 6. So it sounds like, once you credit card is charged, it's a done deal. I still don't have any confirmation on grandparents/extra adults for the future, but hopefully he's correct about my tickets being okay for this trip.

Also, has anyone done the Wild by Nature class/what'd you think? The kids love animals and are already so excited about the class.

No, finger scans were not needed with our YES tickets in August; of course that could have changed but at that time all guests had to do was pass the ticket through the reader on the turnstile.

Every ticket is marked " YOUTH " on the back whether it is for a child or adult. It seems to just make things easier to write names on the tickets; ie if someone in your group skips a day at parks then that person will have an extra day on their ticket to use so you'd want to know which ticket that is, etc.

:)

I was accidently overcharged. I noticed late last night i was Charged for 5 3 day hoppers and an extra $26.00 for myself to attend a total of 2 classes. I sent an email explaining the issue. Just about an hour ago i recieved a phone call. I am not sure who it was as i didnt write the name down. He told me he was with Disney Yes program and was caling about my email and the overcharge. He himself had removed the charge and removed my name from being booked for both classes. Now I am assigned to my eldest child's class and my DH is assigned to the class with the younger children.

I am very impressed with the personal call and resolving the issue so quickly. :goodvibes

He did advise me to print and bring my Will Call confirmation AND the email he would be sending with the corrected class assignments on the day I picked up tickets and with us to class.
