Thanks drischar for posting your exchange with the YES program. I will keep an eye out and hopefully they will release the Oct 10th date again.

Fingers crossed.

Darn .. wish I would have known this sooner as I would have signed both myself and DH up to join DD (age 9.5) for the class at Epcot in August. As it stands, I just registered one of us to attend the class and figured the other would have to wander aimlessly until the class was over. We are staying off-site so will all have to go to the park together.

He can always gather FastPasses for everyone in the group during his 3 hours!

I just signed up my DS8 and DNephew9 for the Ocean Discoveries class on Oct 11. Now I can breathe a sigh of relief!:woohoo:

Yeah! We should have some type of secretive DIS boards roll call at the Ocean Discoveries Oct 11th class: drischar, 58cognac, avic77, mrspopeye...here.:goodvibes

I bet we have enough with just the Dis kids for the Oct 11th class to go through... I have 2 signed up how many do ya'll have?

Trying to decide if we want to change plans and book on the 11th or hold out for the 10th! :confused3

Please forgive me for not reading 161 pages... wow!

I saw the question asked around page 110 ish, but never saw the answer:

DH, DD (will be 11) and I will be going with DS who will be 3. Can I sign up DH (or myself depending on which we do) and DD to attend a class, while the other parent stays with DS who is too young to attend, and I can still get tickets for all four of us? Or do all children on the tickets have to be old enough to attend a class?

I did a trial run and it let me go all the way to entering name and credit card info, so it seems like it's okay but I wanted to ask if anyone here had done it. Thanks so much!

I'm so excited, I know DD will love doing the program so we could always just buy tix for two and full price tix for the other two.

We are thinking about doing the October 11th Ocean Discoveries class (my daughter and niece). We just have to confirm our flights in the next couple of days. We were going to do a class on October 7th that my 6 year old daughter could have done as well, but now it is gone. :sad2:

Yes, I think so especially if you got all the way to the end. If you put in more adult tickets than allowed then you will get a pop-up. So go for it!

I will have a 12 yr old daughter in the Ocean Discoveries class and a 16 yr old daughter in the Captivating Moments class on Oct 11.

Yes, you can buy tickets for all 4 of your family. Be sure to list all 4 names and then you only check the names of DD and DH on the following screen indicating who is taking the class.

I'm sorry if this has been answered. 161 pages is a lot to get through. But has anyone had any negative issues with the program? My family is considering signing up because of the awesome discounts.

I have read from pg 75 forward and I do not recall reading anything negative.

The only negative I can see is that the tickets are non-refundable and only good for one week prior to your arrival date until one week after your departure date. If you had to cancel your trip, you would lose the money you invested in the tickets.

Is that about 6 of ours so far? How big are the classes usually?

FWIW, when I was looking at the available classes, I used Oct 1 and Oct 31 as my arrival and departure dates, so that it would list all October classes. Since I had used these dates, my ticket order confirmation says Valid thru 11-07-2011, which is 7 days after my "departure date". So, if your travel dates are still uncertain, I would recommend using the earliest possible arrival date and the latest possible departure date that your party may consider.

My tickets for August actually say they are good for 2/22/11 through 8/27/11.I called and the lady said not to worry about it. The date was evidently when the tickets were processed.

I signed up 4 kids for the June 22nd class called DIsneys Ocean Discoveries. Where is this class held and how long is it?
Thank you
Sara

We just signed up dd(8) for June 15, 2011 for the Synergy in Science class. Has anyone ever done this one?? I have downloaded the student program preparation documents, so that we can get her ready. She will be in the 4th grade next year and I know that science is really heavily taught at her school, so this will get her in the mood in a fun way.

I did get the 3day tickets, so this works out for everyone :goodvibes
