I used the one below last week, and got a response this week. She was very quick to follow up on some of my additional questions.

I just got an email from Heidi this morning. LOVE HER!
Heidi.E.Williams@disney.com

Also, to PP, the African Cats thing IS the homeschool presentation. Additional YES classes added to that are $26 per person per class. At least that's the info I got from Heidi.

See ya'll there!!!!

i would agree. a three year old is pretty little still. i miss having them around!

torinsmom, which class are you sending your 16 year old to? I was considering sending mine.

As it stands right now, we are going June 15-25. He really wanted to do Dynamics of Technology, but that is on June 14th or Properties of Motion, but that one is on July 11th. I have a teacher workday on June 13th that I have to be at, so if we drive we won't make it for the 14th and I prefer not to go in July if possible.

So....if our plans stay the same, he will be doing Ocean Discoveries on June 20th.

I'm thinking I saw recently that you can NOT use Visa Reward Dollars for YES tickets. Does anyone know?

When I'm on the YES website, I know I'm too far out (aug. 1) for individual enrollment. However when I put in all my information, the number and type of tickets I want, how I wish to receive them, etc, it gives me a total as if I could purchase them today. I guess my question is...can I and get the YES program ticket cost without signing up/going to a class? :confused3

I doubt it. They process the orders by hand. So, they will look at every single order, and then put it through. It's not an automated system, kwim? So, when I put in the comments that I wanted an 8 day ticket instead of 7, someone called me to verify that before charging my card. I think they'd notice if you weren't signed up for a class.

My son is participating in the Jan. 25 Wild by Nature program at 1:00 p.m. - I just confirmed the reservation! Anybody else on here going to be participating in this one as well?

I called yesterday and they said that there were not going to be any classes in November and December this year. You might want to double check that.

Does anyone know if there will be programs in October? I sent an e-mail but haven't received a response yet.

When I talked to Ashley she gave me some tenative dates for September. And I beleive she said Homeschool days are planned for October so there would be class times in October as well.

Does anyone know if the YES program tickets with the water parks, fun and more option also includes the free round of golf like the regular water parks, fun and more tickets do?

It looks like they have had open enrollment in Jan 2010 & 2011. Do you think they will continue the open enrollment in 2012, that's when we are planning on going.

Traditionally there have been Homeschool Days in January and September (which are just like open enrollment but were just a few days each of those months- together-not spread out over the month)

Last year they tried some open enrollment times. Must have when well because they added more dates and changed the name to Individual Enrollment.

So I guess we will have to see how this year goes. :wizard: Here's hoping for at least every January and September from me:wizard:

Nuts. I'm hoping that changes - we're going the first week in December, and the kids would love it

Anyone going in February. I am signing my girls up for feb 8th Disney's Captivating Moments: Images with Impact (my 16 year old) and on feb 14 How Things Move (my 7 year old) .
Has anyone did either of these programs and did your child like them? I think they look really exciting and the ticket discounts are awesome.

I didn't see the answer to this. Below is what is included in the package tickets:

Visit our exciting Resort attractions, including 2 fabulous Water Parks, DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive theme park, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course

Are all of those things included in the YES tickets, or just the water parks and Disney Quest? Regardless, this is a great deal. I just priced 10 nights at Pop, with 5 day water park and more tickets, for $2700:scared1:. Instead, I've booked a 3 bed/3bath townhouse with a pool in WH for the same 10 nights, and with the YES tickets I'll be paying $1600!!!!:cool1:

****Just found the exact wording, so I'm assuming no on the golf????????

Five days' admission to Walt Disney World® Resort Theme Parks with the opportunity to visit multiple Parks on the same day, as many times as you'd like. Five visits to your choice of Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park. And one (1) Disney Youth Education Series program.
