Does anyone know if payment for the tickets can be made with Disney VISA rewards card?
I guess I'll give it a try and find out.

I have a YES program booked for the 1st week of April and still trying to get enough people together, but I have a questions.

Someone wrote: Finger scans are always tied to the group. So if they are , as long as the scan matches someone in the group you're fine.

If you have someone in the group that checks in the first available day and then everyone else checks a week later, is this going to be a problem? Only one finger scan will be in the system.

We have some that are buying 3 day passes and some buying 6 day passes. How will the system even know if the finger scan isn't working?

Thanks!

P.S. Also hoping we can use the Disney Rewards card!!!

We did a group this Nov.

There is confusion at Disney about the YES ticket finger scans.

Our family had Give a Day vouchers also. So since we didn't need them as one day tickets, we traded one in each day at a different park. At the 1 st park (Epcot) we were not scanned nor told to put our names on the tickets. From then on mass confusion arose everytime we went to trade in a voucher at the guest relations window. The CMs kept on insisting we match the YES ticket owner to the name on the GAD voucher because of "finger scans". Even though we told them we were never scanned at the gate. One even "promised " us we would be scanned that day.

We were never scanned the whole 6 days trip.

Probably not true.

The YES tix are youth tickets and thus do not require finger scans.

We went in July and none of us (not even the adults) had to use the finger scanners.

I called the 800 number today for the YES program to ask when the Sept. and Oct. dates would be available and was told by the gentleman who answered that they are unsure whether they will have any dates in the fall of 2011 and if they did they would not be released until June. Seemed like bad information to me. Has anyone heard anything else about Sept dates

I ordered my tickets online for individual enrollment. I am scheduled to pick them up at Downtown Disney, but it said to pay at the window. Will there be any problem with this because when I looked a few weeks ago, you had to pay for them at the time you ordered them.

Do they stick solid to the age requirements or do they just "suggest" the children be that age. I am working on getting a group of friends together to go to Disney in Jan of 2012 and would love to do a YES program with all out kids, but I know we will have 1 that is 7 and one that is 17. The 8-18 programs would work if they just "suggest" the ages, so the 7 year old could go, if not then there is not a single program that would work for all the kids in our group.

I have a group of 10 kids (8 family members + 2 friends) and we signed up for Properties of Motion for September 12 at 7:15. If you are interested in signing up with us, you could go ahead & start your planning now. I'm not really sure about the chaperone thing, though. It says 1 adult is required for every 5 children, so I would assume you would need (only be able to have) a 3rd chaperone for the 11-15th kids. My SIL & I will be the first 2 chaperones.

I emailed about this because one of our 9 kids would be 7 & we wanted to let her in with the other 8 kids in the family. They emailed me this response:
"We are unfortunately not able to allow the 7 year old on the program. This program does require that the students be a minimum of 8 years old since they do go into the park before it opens and this is considered a backstage experience. Also, your program will be taught to the age range that is most prevalent in your group (high school student range), so a 7 year old would not really enjoy the experience. We just want to ensure that your group has the most successful educational program possible." :sad1:

Hi. Question for all you who have used the program before. My son is 15 and has autism. I know he would really enjoy the "How Things Move" session, which is really for younger kids. Do you think Disney would allow him to attend since his social age is right in the age requirements?

I'm going to contact them when the enrollment opens up but I was just trying to get a feel for it. My DD is planning to do the individual enrollment Animation class, so we're already good for buying tickets, but I thought DS would enjoy a class, too. Since it's individual, my DH would be with him the whole time. I'd never try to put him into a class without one of us with him.

Thank you for offering this to us. We were hoping to go later in September but I may take you up on this. Do you know if everyone in our group would recieve the yes program discounted tickets like we would with individual enrollment?

I have emailed Ashley with the yes program to check on the Sept. dates

interesting. in theory, if you can pay at the window and use disney gift cards, then I could get gas discounts through the grocery store. please let us know what you find out. I have to order this week.

I ordered mine a few days ago and selected to pick them up at AK, well I just got a phone call from Ashley saying that the links on the site are bad and I registered for group enrollment, everything I clicked that night sent me to the same form. She sent me a correct link & it does not have the option of paying at pick up, you have to enter a CC to continue w/ the order.

www dot disneyurl dot com/individualenrollment

Also she said the African Cats presentation for homeschool enrollment was full. She mentioned that they were trying to find a larger space to accomadate more people, but at this time they havent found anywhere.

Just spoke with Iliya (sp), from YES. She explained that Individual enrollment applicants must pay by cc at online request. Groups can pay at the window. Individual enrollment cannot use Rewards card.
I must say this program has the nicest CM's I have encountered.

No problem! Let us know what you find out!

I'm sure you would all recieve the same price tickets we got. I would think that would be the only way to get into our YES class. :)

I tried to register for open enrollment for early June when we are going, but was told that there are no programs available then.
So I will try to put a group together. We need 10 for the group.
I have 2 daughters 5 and 6, so if you're going then and want to join the group let me know.

I would be interested in June. We just booked Pop for June 11-18.
