Disney YES Program Open to non-groups

I enrolled 2 of my kids in the "Wild by Nature" program in AK for January 11th, 2010.

When you enroll, can you post and we can somehow get them all into one post and see who is going to be there.

This involved me buying tickets for days I already have tickets for (I have a 10 day non expire, WPM, bought 4 day YES tickets) I will use the YES tickets for this trip park days and use the 10 day tickets for our DQ days. Signing up involved changing around some park days but I really want them to try it.

Can you tell me how the Wildlife by Nature program was? I'm thinking of enrolling my kids thru open enrollment this summer

Does anyone know how long it takes for your tickets to be mailed/received? I ordered mine last weekend, saw the charge hit my CC on Sunday and have not yet received them. Do they come standard mail or thru FedEx? I am nervous that someone will intercept them!

Mine came Fedex and it took a couple of weeks to get them after my card was charged.

So what happens if you schedule your class, pay for the tickets and then you have to cancel your trip? The tickets are good for a certain amount of time before and after your class, right? So do you lose your money on the tickets?

Just trying to decide. I am thinking of signing my 15yo DS up for the Keepers of the Kingdom class on June 17.

The tickets are good for 7 days before the date you give them as your arrival date and 7 days after the departure date. So, unless you can reschedule during that tight window, then no, you won't be able to use them.

I would say unless you are positive that you are going, don't order them.

Hello,
I'm sorry I'm sure the answer is here but I didn't see it on my quick look ~ we are getting free qs dining at this time so I am guessing we still need to buy the 1 day tkt minimum for the package & then just add the YES tickets to that??

Yes-you can go ahead and order the YES tickets you need and just do your pakage with the one day ticket.

:confused:I am ready to complete our order however it says

“Will Call Option- I Will Pick Up My Tickets At The Epcot Group Window On The Date Below: “

and then goes on to list the day of our program. However we actually wanted to pick up & start using our tickets the day before. I believe we are allowed?? Should I just put a note in the comments?

ARe there any days in August? Can someone give a symopsis of how the tickets work? How many children and how many sponsors for each child is what I need to know. Sorry, but I just scanned the thread.

Yes, you can get your tix before your class date.
I was told to note when and where I wanted to pick up my tix in the comments section...

FYI: I was also able to get 10 day premium tix by calling, asking, and noting the conversation in the comments box on the registration!:cool1:

YMMV

I'm way bummed. I talked to Sarah a cm at yes program and she said they would not be offering any days in august/sept. We are mid. sept. and were hoping to do a class, and get the discounted tickets. Only classes they will be offering is during homeschooling days sept. 8,9.

I am sorry it did not work out for you. We hope to go in January. I wonder if she would be able to tell me yet if it is planned for open enrollment.

Has anyone who ordered tickets for June/July actually received them yet?

Glad I am not alone! I ordered my tickets on 3/25 and since they were supposed to ship FedEx, I got worried. I emailed last week and was told they were set to be mailed THIS week. Here it is Thursday, and still no tickets. I got 2 other fedex deliveries this week and was disappointed that my tickets were not there. I am so nervous that they are lost in the mail! We leave at the end of May!

We're not going until July, so I wasn't concerned about getting them in time. I was just wondering if anyone had gotten them. Seems to be taking forever.
Good to know there are others still waiting. Thanks!

I just received our email confirmation of our order and as I read over it I thought this info might be useful to someone out there...?:goodvibes

“MOUSE”ELLANEOUS NOTES:
-- Changes or cancellations to the number of attendees must be made in writing either by e-mail or by making changes on this form and returning it to the fax number above. These requests must be made at least five (5) days prior to your arrival. However, if your change is to increase or decrease your order by (5) tickets or less, you may make this change at the Group Window at the time of purchase as long as your payment matches the new
amount due.

-- Theme Park tickets are date specific for your trip. A “valid through” date will be printed on each ticket – tickets will expire after this date.

I ordered my June tickets a few weeks ago and haven't recieved them yet. They credit card was charged, so I hope that means they will be here soon!

I don't think anyone who signed up for the January 2010 YES open enrollment program received their tickets more than 2-3 weeks prior to arrival, regardless of when they enrolled/ordered. We got ours about 2 weeks prior.

I havent went through all the post, so I hope this isnt repeat. But I am curious... we (DH, DS12, myself, and a friend of mine) are all going to WDW in July. DS would really love to go to one of these programs, but we already have AP passes. My friend however doesn't have a pass yet. So my question is... Can I sign DS12 up for the YES program so he can choose a session or two, and let the friend use the park ticket? I looked all over the YES FAQ's and was unable to find an answer.

TIA!

The FedEx man JUST dropped mine off!

The tickets say 7 day Park Hopper - YOUTH and the dates they are valid (7 days prior to arrival and 7 days past departure).

I ordered the tix on 3/24/10, but the receipt in the envelope says Date: 4/2/10 Processed Date: 4/7/10 (as does the back of the ticket). So, they processed the order exactly 2 weeks after I ordered them. Then they shipped FedEx and I had them in hand 2 days later. Hope that helps all the anxious people out there! :yay:

Can you tell me how much they were? I'd be looking for 7 to 10 day premiums in January.
