Disney YES Program Open to non-groups

I got an email from Heidi confirming Homeschool Days for January 24 & 25. My question to her was about open enrollment, so I replied for confirmation. I asked her if these were Homeschool Days or YES Open Enrollment days. I will let ya'll know when I get an answer.

She also said that they did not have agendas and programs available yet but that she would put me on a list to email when they had it finalized.

Just received our tickets. Hoping someone may have done this and can guide me through it:

I had to purchase 1 day passes to get free dining (bounceback). Can you remove the one day off your KTTW card and add the YES ticket instead? We are a weird scenario since DD is leaving early and her card has less days. We are mostly set in our ways and prefer to use just one card (KTTW) instead of two. All my charging in on the KTTW card. Has anyone done this and is it a hassle or easy?

Thanks, I guess we will just have to go with the flow and make sure not to use our KTTW cards because of the ticket that it attached to it. Now we all have to decide which character we want to be on the cards.

I tried very hard to read all these posts but I couldn't get through them all. Sorry if this is a repeat.
I had a friend who took her class down last fall and did the YES program. She was given (I am sure they included the charge into the fees) meal vouchers for the time she was there.
Are they still offering the meal vouchers with the program and what do they do if you go during the free dining?
I would be interested in bringing my grandson for a few days and having him attend the program and I would like some of those meal vouchers but I won't be staying at a resort, I will stay at my DVC where you don't get the free meal program.

I'm doing a group in Nov.
I looked at the meal voucher.
That's no discount at all.
It is $14 for a quick service combo meal.
We are just going to handle our own meals.
Isn't that part of why you got a DVC , for the in room dinning.

Hi and thank you for your help! The class sounds great, I wish we could make it but it is looking more and more like January would work out better for us. I had to giggle at your description as it sounds just like me and my DH! However, I have one boy and a teenage girl.

I see someone mentioned going with a class in Nov., also. I don't see any classes listed for that month so how does that work? Will Disney schedule a class if you get enough children together?

I am trying to put a class together for January 18-25 if you are interested. Just PM me if you want to try and work something out. We need 10 kids. I have 2 ages 8 and 6.

We are looking at going to Disney for Home School Days in January and we were wondering how much time we needed to give ourselves to get to AK for the class. We were going to stay at POP but now we're thinking we may be better off staying at a resort closer to AK since the bus may take a while to get there. Also, has anyone done the Wild By Nature class? How was is? Are you standing and walking the whole time? How long does the class last? My son is 8 so I think he'd enjoy it. Sorry so many questions, any help would be appreciated.

Ours was at Epcot and the group met at 7:45am.

We just did this class last saturday and it was great. You should show up 15 minutes early, they really want to get moving by 8:30am and they have set you up with name tags and headphones etc... before you get moving.

I read somewhere that January HS days will be at Animal Kingdom. Is this confirmed, and is it the class that you all are discussing. My 11 year old is excited that this is the topic.
