Disney Y.E.S. Program

Wow we will have to wait 75 min for DS to open

Yep, we were there at 7:15 for DS' class and Epcot didn't open until 9 that day. This year, the class is at MK at 7:15, and I did an ADR at Crystal Palace for 8:20, so hopefully we can get it by 8.

I heard YES tickets are made of Tyvek. We're staying on-site. Does anybody know if they can be transferred to our Key to the World cards?

On the last long YES thread, I am certain I read that you cannot.

The good thing is, that you don't need to finger scan when you enter the park. It won't matter who has which ticket [unless you have plans for family members to have less park days than others] so getting in the park is easier.

For EMH, just show them the KTTW card.

This is so turning into a budget trip.. Just booked an off site condo.Total trip with 5 yes tickets and 7 nights in condo $1550. 7 nights and the same tickets would be $32xx one site at POR where we usually stay. :cool1: Now to go insure it all.

Thanks so much! We've always had everything on one card so this will be something new for us. I heard Tyvek is really durable, I just can't picture how using the fastpass machines will work with them. They must work though.

They are very sturdy. They work fine for the fastpass machines. Mine were in and out of my husbands wallet for the 10 days we were there and it was fine. Having both cards was ok...he kept the Yes tickets and I kept the KTTW cards.

Got my tickets ordered. We are going to the June 13 class! WOOHOO!!

Missy,

Which class? I ordered last night. I will have kids in Disney Captivating Moments on June 13th.

I just about fainted last night when I saw registration open. My lab top has been having problems and was not working yesterday morning.:scared1:

I had several alternatives classes in mind but, the kids are teens and really wanted this class.

Now we are all doing the happy dance::woohoo::banana::cool1::woohoo:

Can i just say how excited I am right now??!!

This is our first trip ever where my trip is paid off this far in advance:banana: which gives me time to save money for the fun stuff we want to do while we are on vacation.

We rented DVC points and we will be staying at AKV for 12 days so first time in a deluxe as well.

Ahh I just love the Disboards!!

Thanks! Good to Know!

Anybody taking June 12 Synergy in Science for 6-12 year olds? My 8 year old son and I will be there. I'm so excited we can plan Star Wars weekend and the YES class during the same trip!

Congrats:goodvibes

We love AKV & Boma's. (We have only stayed in Jambo house but, we have gone to see Kidan Village and it looks great too.)

I found out this morning, I received back pay for a raise I was do almost a year ago. The check covers over 80% of our park tickets.:cool1:

Now , I just have to budget for food and fun.

The YES program has allowed us to stay longer than we would otherwise - Disney still gets my money.:rotfl:

Same here! I booked a condo for the first time (although we've stayed offsite more than onsite). Our trip for all five of us will be around $1500 (tickets and condo). I love saving money!

We are in that class! I have four 9 year old girls in our group!

We have my 8 year old son (will be almost 9 in June) signed up! I am so appreciative of this thread, because I probably would not have noticed that the registration was open if I hadn't been looking here. I can't believe how fast this class filled up!

Cool! 4 girls and 2 boys posted already, half the class must be posting on this thread! I heard there is only about a dozen kids per class?
I'm so glad I kept checking the board too. I wouldn't have known just from checking the disney website because it still said "registration coming soon". That was the only class my son could take during our trip and it filled up within 2 days.

I was taken by surprise to see October classes open up. Now I'm worried. I have been on a waitlist/ongoing search for a resort Oct 13-20 or so, and still haven't gotten anything. Now I'm worried that if I wait, the classes will fill up!
It will be me, Dh and our 2 grandkids 5 & 11. A great class is available for DGS11- Production Arts and Science but nothing for 5 year old Granddaughter.
3 Questions:
1. Will more classes open up?
2. Can I just register to reserve the spot and buy tickets a bit later?
3. If I sign up just my grandson, can I still buy tickets for all four of us?

Bonus question:rolleyes1- If DH can't make trip can my DD (grdkids mom) use his ticket?
OK- that's all;)

1. I doubt it, think they are all up.
2. Nope, have to buy when you register.
3. Yes, you can buy for everyone.

Bonus - Not sure if they have names printed on the tickets, but I would think she could use it since you don't even need to use a finger print to get in the parks.

Thank you- I love the Dis for getting quick answers from the best people!
I think we'll go for it with the class for my grandson- he love's school so how could he not love a Disney class!
Now if I could get a room and a good deal on airfare!

quick question- I saw a link posted on another thread for open class dates, but only through August- where can I find dates further out than that? thanks!

I thought the same thing until I entered my dates (in September) and then it pulled up the classes in that date range. I was able to purchase my mid-late September classes. Just make sure you enter the date range you plan to be there correctly because when you are done, it says you can pick up the tickets starting with the earliest date you entered. For example, I haven't bought our plane tickets yet, so I made sure to put in the earliest date that I thought we would get there so I can pick them up that date or later depending on when we arrive.

I just signed up my 12 yr old DS for Everyday Chemistry for June 12th, anyone else going to be there at that one?
