I just bought traveler's insurance from TravelInsured for $66 (for 2 adults and 2 kids). This is a standard insurance plan, not just the most basic available. It's normally $74 but I purchased it with a link through my homeowners/car insurance provided so I got a discount. Check with your current insurance company, they may be able to provide a discount.

Hello, I just need some clarification on how the Y.E.S. program park ticket package works. Do all four of my kids and both me and DH have to be signed up for a class in order for me to purchase the park tickets for everyone in our family? It would most likely be just me and my oldest child who would participate in a class while my DH stays back with the other children because my other children are all at the preschool level developmentally.
Secondly, can you use these tickets to obtain fast passes in the parks? For our past WDW trip we stayed onsite and everything was on our KTTW card so I am curious how things work with these tickets. Thank you for your help.

The tickets work like regular tickets for fast passes. ETA-but cannot be put on the KTTW cards.

I think you would need to call YES directly to ask about tickets for the other children. I would not feel comfortable guessing about your situation.
1-877-939-6884 is the number I have for individual enrollment. There is a different number listed for school groups.

I just bought YES tickets for my friend and our 2 daughters.
They'll need to meet by the flagpole at AK at 8:30 am.
I am not participating (I have an AP), so I will have to wait until 9 am to enter the park.
Can they scan their tickets and hand them over to me? Or, can I catch up to them at 9 am somehow?
I'd like to have all our tix so I can FP (even if it's a little later on - if the new FP policy is in effect).

I was just checking to purchase our YES Tickets for the Synergy course June 12, and it is closed.

I see that June 13 is still open (for now), but I will have to see if I can revamp our plans.

If we cant get the class, no worries, we will still be there.

Reading some things on the website leads you to believe that every child who is of age needs a class or there can't be more than two extra tickets per child in class; however, if the website let you do it, I don't see how there can be an issue later on. You have the confirmation for all the tickets and they are only expecting one child in the class, you should be fine.

I was wondering the same thing (I actually asked earlier today). I'm curious as well if my DH, DS and mom will have to wait until the park opens to get in? DDs class starts at 8:15 and we're staying offsite, so obviously we have to all drive together to the park!

I took a group to a YES trip last year, and we were allowed early entry, however it was only 15 minutes prior to park opening.

Thanks, I feel better knowing someone else has also gotten tickets for their non participating kids. These conflicting reports always worry me!

Maybe it will last for a long time since they can control the number of people that can take advantage. It helps if people are willing to play by the rules.

When the dining plan first came out in 2005, people found all kinds of ways to game the system. Some folks did everything from using kid credits for adults to using a snack credit for a gallon of milk to booking fake kids to get extra credits with free dining.

I certainly agree, playing by the rules is key. We even went so far as to call the YES program and explain exactly what we wanted to do in order to be sure we were following the programs intentions. The rep. told me we were perfectly fine.
The classes are really cool too! What a blessing this program is. I hope it lasts.

I heard YES tickets are made of Tyvek. We're staying on-site. Does anybody know if they can be transferred to our Key to the World cards?

When we did a class at Epcot last year, the non-participating family members were not allowed to enter the park earlier. We did stand by the turnstile and retrieve the kids' tickets for FP purposes with no problem.

You cannot sign up more adults than children except for the case of 1 child you can sign up 2 adults.

if you have 2 children, you only can sign up 2 adults. the 3rd adult would need to purchase a regular price ticket
