Disney World's 40th Anniversary

I was thinking of coming down to celebrate Disney World's 40th Anniversary on October 1st but wanted to see if there was any news of any special events happening. I will not be able to make the D23 event so I was hoping there would be something in October.

Anyone know?

I was wondering the same thing also. We have a trip planned for some time in sept or oct. We are flexiable with dates and if there was going to be anything going on i could plan around that.

I don't have the answer to your question, but there is some pretty cute retro 40th merch out there! I've already fallen for the mug and A,B,C,D,E ticket magnets!
