My brother and SIL invited me to come with them on a trip to Hilton Head with my niece and nephew in June. I was planning a trip to WDW in November and can't do both. So I'm trying to decide what to do, but I have to make a decision quick because my SIL needs to let the condo place know if they want the 2 or 3 bedroom. I can't decide what to do......

I love spending time with my niece and nephew, but I'm one of those people who likes to do stuff on vacaton. Sitting on the beach or by the pool all day is boring to me. I've never been to Hilton Head, is there anything there beside the beach and golf courses? I do enjoy golf, but I play piddly little 3 par courses around here just for fun, I doubt I could handle a Hilton Head course. I wonder if they'd allow Bawb Golf?

As for WDW, if I go in November it will be another solo trip and I just did a solo trip in May of 2009 and didn't really want to do another for awhile, no one is really able to go with me in November though and I did want to try out Food and Wine, so I was going to give it a shot.

So, Hilton Head family trip or WDW Solo trip, what to do, what to do....:scratchin

I have done both and it really would depend on what type of vacation you are looking for. When we went to Hilton Head it was to spend time as a family with my Dad who had pancreatic cancer. It was very relaxing and there is golf, tennis, bike trails, beaches and shopping. It is a beautiful place and would be great if your idea of fun is spending time with family just realxing. It is not high energy like WDW and it is perfect if you will enjoy just chilling. Personally, we get bored after a day or two with nothing to entertain us but Hilton Head was perfect for low key family time we wanted for that trip. If that is what you would enjoy for a change, you may want to give it a try.

Either way, have fun!
