Disney World Vloggers

Does anybody watch Pixie Dusted Phoebe?

What's her story, is she a current/former Cast Member?

If you have ever wondered what it is like to be one of the World Showcase Cast Members who give a year of their lives to WDW,I ran across a great vlog called Charlie's New World.

It is about a group from England working their program at Rose & Crown and it is really fun watching their reactions as they experience WDW and America for the very first time.

Ordinary Adventures is our fave. They're mostly DL and west coast but get around. On the Disney Treasure right now I believe. Peter has a great cinematographers eye, sees things I missed, e.g their recent trip to the new DL Haunted Mansion gift shop. It was a bust for me, then I saw their video. Gotta credit Kitra's editing too. Their video of the Royal Caribbean Symphony actually persuaded us to cruise on it, cross-country flight and all.

Tim Tracker also on our frequent flyer list. Explains/analyzes things very well, down to the number of USB ports in a room. Great sense of humor. such as when he and Jen were discussing a gender reveal for their baby a couple of years ago, and Jen kind of blurted it out.

And Adam the Woo has been on some interesting adventures lately - Barrow Alaska and Belize.

These are all ones I watch pretty regularly. I really prefer the vlogs that are their trip; not where they're focused in something specific like an event, new thing etc. I want it as a trip report :)

I used to watch them a lot, but then I realized the content is very repetitive. And some just started to annoy me.

Loved the DIS best and worst videos, but they stopped doing them and their weekly show has too much unrelated chit chat.

Tim Tracker; after a while I realized some of the things he reported were plain wrong, showing he didn’t know that much about Disney. Then they seemed to become very pleased with themselves, staying only at the most expensive hotels, and I stopped watching.

DFB: very basic info and highly repetitive content packaged in click bait titles.

PCD: I liked his vlogs at first because he wasn’t afraid to mention negative aspects as well, but then it turned into incessant complaining.

Mammoth club: I like the informative content but can do without all the games (winner picks dinner, etc). Ditto All Ears.

For some reason, my favorite are British vloggers’ trip reports. Nobody in particular, just that genre.

Same here.

That is why I like Charlie's New World so much.

The different accents and "lingo" are so fun.

For example after a hard shift at Rose & Crown they don't say "I am so tired!".

They will say "I am SHATTERED!".lol

My wife is on a girls trip right now on the Disney Treasure. Tim Tracker and Jen (and their kids), DisLyfeOfOurs, and Ordinary Adventures are some of the vloggers on the ship at the moment she has seen.
Adam Hattan is on it as well.

I will have to check them out!

I like the expression “I am knackered”. The Brits have some really great words that to me sound so fitting for what they describe.

Does Disney consider the Live Streamers "beneficial"?

Would they like a "cap" on how many or does Disney feel "the more live streams, the merrier"?

We really love Paging Mr. Morrow. My kids love the moments he has with his sweet dog, and he's just overall incredibly positive and fun to watch. His background story is inspirational, as well.

My favorite is Mackenzie Borg. She doesn’t post from parks super regularly but her trip vlogs are great and she and her family come across so genuine and terrific. They are just fun to watch.

As long as they aren't causing trouble, I think Disney likes the free publicity.

May not be any of my business-just curious-can a WDW live streamer generate enough income for that to be their primary source of income?

If so,I am grabbing my camera, packing up and moving to O-Town in the morning!lol

If you get enough views, you can certainly have it as your primary source of income. Hence the rise of "influencers."

Wow,I had no idea the WDW live streamers can make that much money!

I thought they did it more or less as a hobby/supplemental income.

My bags are packed!lol

Do the Vloggers support each other or are they in "competition"?

I am watching a Vlogger now and they have bumped into another Vlogger.

They are doing small talk, but the situation seems a little awkward, but I could be misreading.

Also will the Vloggers have serious hand/arm/shoulder problems as they age from holding a gimbal hours and hours a day 5 or more days a week?

I have decided I cannot be a WDW Vlogger-no way I could eat meals on camera with food hanging out of my mouth!lol :)
