The Park Pass website is now completely different.

You select how you want to book your park passes - from Tickets, Annual Passes and then as APs you can select hotel guest or from your allocation as an AP and the calendar will tell you ahead of time whether there is availability or not ... very cool!

I have to say this is a big improvement over the original Park Pass reservation website where you needed to have the availability calendar up at the same time as the reservation website.

It will potentially be confusing though where previously the system made the decision for you on whether to pull from your hotel reservation or whether to pull from your AP bucket, but I do think for those of us who know what we're doing it is an improvement as well.

September 11th and September 14th are both bonus reservation dates too that don't count against your AP reservations.

You might want to edit your post to reflect that not all pass levels get 5 reservations. My Pixie Dust passes only get 3.

Very cool. It looks the new process is much easier.

Yeah definitely a huge improvement over the original Park reservation system - I understand why that system was a little bit piecemeal - they developed it in a very short amount of time and it has remained largely the same since June 2020 when it launched (other than bug fixes). This system (which apparently is the same system Disneyland uses) is much nicer!

Thanks I edited it.

As a warning, it does not appear Blackout dates are working yet at least for me Screen Shot 2021-09-08 at 9.10.22 AM.png- I have a Gold Pass and should be blocked out between Christmas and New Years - but it shows me full availability.

Does it let you modify now? Needing to cancel and then hope there's still availability was not great.

I can't modify reservations that I made associated with my hotel stays - as there is no button to modify in "My Plans" and that is the only place my Park Pass reservation shows up.

However if it is a reservation made with the new system (I haven't confirmed if old park passes show up this way if they were associated with an Annual Pass or Ticket reservation) - it shows up in a list of all my current park pass reservations (made with the new system) and there is a modify button which works as you'd expect.

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/entry-reservation/ is the URL to see a list of all of your reservations made with the new system.

Here’s an interesting new wrinkle in the new AP Park Pass system:

When I make an AP Park Pass and associate it with my AP Voucher purchased from Sam’s Club, I do not get the option to modify it. It shows in my AP Park Pass list, but there is no modify button, only a cancel button.

When I make an AP Park Pass and associate it with my AP voucher purchased directly from Disney, I do have the option to modify. Both the modify cancel buttons appear for that pass.

So it appears that AP vouchers purchased directly from Disney are definitely better recognized in MDE. Not only do they allow the owner to view and book AP discounted rooms without calling, they allow you to modify park reservations, whereas the Sam’s vouchers don’t.
