Disney World Guide Books

My husband and I are leaving for our first trip to WDW for our 1 year wedding anniversary in 3 days! I have done tons of online research to plan for the trip. (Thanks to everyone for great advice!) I just realized that you could buy a guide book for the parks (duh!). Can any one recommend a good guide book? I am looking for some great park strategies. We will only be at the parks for 4 full days so I want to make the most of our time.

For park strategies, I recommend the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. Hands-down, it's the best strategy guide.

Later on, you might want to look into getting the Passporter Guide to Walt Disney World and perhaps the EZ Fun Guide to WDW as well. But the Unofficial Guide is required reading, in my opinion.

I'll second that. If you want some strategy UG is the best. Passporter has all the info you could ever want - parks, attractions, accomodations, food. Love them both!

Agreed here as well -- UG is best for strategies in the parks.

I Love the EZ Fun Guide. The maps are wonderful.

I also like the Unofficial guide and the Passporter.
We dont use the tour guides in the Unofficial, we just stroll around and enjoy , but the tour guides look like they would save you alot of time.

Besides the UG & Passporter I'm a big fan of the Aronda Parks book & mini binder that has slots for receipts & res/notes, etc.

since it is your honeymoon, why not splurge & get the Luxury Guide, it's a whole different take IMO.
