does anyone know if any discounts will be available for april or may?

check the banner on the disboards above that says discounts, the wdwinfo.com site lists any discounts posted/available. Also watch the newspaper for deals.

fyi: In the 2005 birnbaums book it says peak season is february 17th to april 16th (for all wdw resorts except swan & dolphin) while regular season rates start april 17th to august 27th for the value, moderate & lodges and april 17th to july 4th for deluxe resorts.
