Day 8 - May 1st
Our last full day
We slept in that morning after a late night at DHS After Hours, then headed to Epcot.
We had a late breakfast at Garden Grill. They still hadn't started serving breakfast again after Covid on our last trip, so we were happy to be back!
Watermelon
My mom doesn't like watermelon, but I love it. I'm pretty sure I ate all of this on my own

This bread was good, but I definitely prefer the cinnamon bun skillet they used to have.

The Mickey waffles and bacon were delicious, and the eggs were fine. I actually enjoyed the steak more than I thought I would, but I'm not a steak for breakfast person, so I didn't eat much of it. Sadly I wasn't a fan of the potatoes.

This one was a little bit of a miss for us unfortunately. Nothing was really bad, we just both preferred the pre-Covid menu. My mom liked the fruit better before, we both preferred the old cinnamon bun, and I preferred the sausage over the steak and the tater tots over these potatoes.
We spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon at Epcot, then went over to Disney Springs for a couple hours. Then my mom went back to the Lodge for the evening and I went to MK by myself for a little bit for some shopping, rides, and fireworks.
I grabbed myself a corn dog and chips from Sleepy Hollow for dinner. I've been wanting to try one of their corn dogs for a long time and it didn't disappoint. This was delicious
