Disney World Christmas decorations and AP Rates

I was wondering aproximately when the Christmas decorations and the holiday parade/shows Start in disney world and When and if AP rates for that time frame come out. went to Disneyland last year the first week in DEC. and loved the Disney Holiday Expirence and would like to see how Disney World Does it. any Recomendations for Mod resorts during this time.

I don't know the exact dates but MVMCP but the week we are going I think it is scheduled 3x. You can get the dates from www.allearsnet.com, I need to print them out.

The decorations come out the week of Thanksgiving, I remember years ago staying (the week after Thanksgiving) at the Grand Floridian (paid for by Mom) there were boxes in the lobby of our building and the next morning a huge Christmas tree was in the center of the building completely decorated. We didn't hear a thing!

We are staying at the Riverside I have heard good comments. We stayed there when it was the Port Orleans and when the French Quarter was Dixie Landings, enjoyed both but it was 10+ years ago.
