Disney World Announces Implementation of Park-Specific Pricing on Single-Day Tickets Starting 12/8!

I realize this, and understand the more days you buy the cheaper they get. We've reduced our yearly Disney trip down to 1 day at Epcot and an after-hours night at HS. The rest of our days will be spent at Universal for various reasons.
We've significantly downsized our Disney trips and added Universal as well. I get it would be cheaper to just buy a longer ticket, but it's not just about cost, it's about value.

Universal is great, especially the Harry Potter areas. Doing Disney and Universal in the same trip does get costly -- and can wear you out.

Have a fun time!

So i have a trip planned for Dec 17th. EPCOT only maybe a park hopper added, buy tickets now or wait?

If it's a one-day ticket, I'd buy now so that I could avoid the price increase AND make sure I could book my park reservation for Epcot. I know that the one-day tickets will include the park reservation, but what if Epcot books up for Dec. 17 before you buy that ticket?

NB: I have not taken the time to look up the park availability calendar for Dec. 17, and I will admit that Epcot doesn't tend to book up, but why take a chance, especially when the ticket will be more expensive on Dec. 8 than it is today?

Yep, if the trip is 100% buy now. No reason at all to wait.
If you are still undecided about going, that is the only reason to wait.
