Thanks, lesa! I think I may actually do a mixture of elements from the older and younger gift then!

It sounds like a lot of you did what I did, in doing the most for the kiddos. The men and women gifts are not as involved, and since we had such few kids, it was fun to put together individual things! I will be honest, it was hardest to come up with the men's gift! Haha! But I finally got it!

As far as telling who things are from, I am fine with either way! I haven't labeled anything yet

This is the first time I'm participating in an FE so have a couple questions.

Do you like to know who gave you what? If so, what's the best way to go about letting the receiver know? I was thinking just some type of notecard with the FE gifts when they are placed.

Is there a 'rule' on this?

I prefer to know who the FE gifts are from. I like to put a little note with my gifts. Last cruise my daughter and I had calling (business) cards made with our name, disboards name, and email and gave those with the gifts.

Afterwards we sent thank you emails to everyone and knowing who gave what allowed me to personalize my notes.

Yep! I have so many magnets made, I don't know if they'll all fit!

I've never made ears. I downloaded the Alaska Mickey hat one, but I think it was 2 pages and wanted me to print on 11x14 paper. So I cheaped out and decided to keep printing ones that would fit on 4x6 prints. Good luck with yours! I can't wait to see everyone's door!

For anyone that wants a non-DIY magnet option, it is easy to find a crafter to customize Disney cruise magnets for your family on Etsy, and you have plenty of time to have i shipped before our cruise. LOL

Can anyone tell me how I can find the Alaskan Mickey hat one? (I think I will actually break down and buy the larger magnet sheets if I can find that one as it is so cute! ... LOL)

The Mickey ears for stateroom doors (many types including the Alaskan hat and detailed directions) can be found on this thread:

We're going to do the DCL captain's hat ears, and I've got some other magnets in the works as well.

Ok, I'm back. I've been really busy with school and work stuff and haven't had time to checkup here.

I was thinking maybe of doing a Pin Trading the first full day, 9/4, of the cruise. Don't know where to meet though. I was thinking of doing it in the middle of the day, about 2, since we might not be doing much else except eating.

As for the cash, the tips to the tours are the only thing I can think that you would need cash for.

For the new people, I can do gift to you guys also. I just need to know the char that you guys like.

As for the Ears... I might as well tell you now, that was actually going to be one of my FE gifts. I was going to make a bunch of different ears for everyone.

Hey everyone! Hoping to book this cruise any day now (have to resolve a few things first). It'll be me (Jamie), my boyfriend (Zack), and mom (Pat). It'll be my mom's first cruise since her honeymoon some 35 or so yrs ago (before stabilizers and she was sick the whole time). So I hope this one goes well. Do we have an FE list going yet? I scrolled back a few pages but didn't see one.

There has been some confusion in regards to late-comers to the FE list. I want everyone to have a great trip and will do what I can to include everyone

So I'm going to clarify.

The FE list is closed

However, if you are interested in seeing if someone can add you to their individual list you can email me your info and I will forward it to all the participants. If someone can add you they will email you directly with their info. This means you are putting together your own list. If you need help putting this info in a spreadsheet please contact me.

For privacy reasons I cannot send out the master list to anyone who is not on that list. I also ask that anyone who has a master list not send it out. Those people only agreed to have their information sent to the participants who signed up before the list closed.

I thought I would pass on this information as well. The cabin has a big circle on the door. Some people print out Mickey ears (on magnetic paper) to decorate their doors… here is a link to the template in case you are interested.

My three other children booked separately for this cruise, so we are in different rooms. There will be two separate fish extenders one for our room(mompaq) and one for (Cinderelley)my three adult children. We are doing different gifts from each room. Funny thing, we do not know what the gifts are from each others room. I doubt they are the same. Most of the room gifts are crafted by us. The kids gifts from our room are not.

When I counted this morning, I counted 18 days until we leave. I least I hope that it is close to that because I have a lot to do! Have stuff bought, just have to put it together and I am making my daughter a formal night. Planning to start packing this weekend!

I haven't started preparations yet except for two FE gifts (total) are complete.
