Oh an I have 9 days till we leave soon to be 8.

OUCH! Hand cramp. I searched high & low for my old door magnets & couldn't find them so I'm having to make new ones. And all the cutting has given me a hand cramp. And I'm only half way (if that) through cutting what I wanted to get done. I did go through my stuff at home today & got out my pirate stuff and a few other misc items I will bring along (not my normal trip stuff but suggestions complements of the disboards list).

Only working 8 hour days this week, it's kind of nice to get off "early" which is midnight. I get up so much earlier & have so much more time during the day to get stuff done. Looking forward to having time tomorrow; usually on Tuesdays I don't get anything done because I leave early for my regular volunteering "job" at the Ronald McDonald House before work.

Who is a football fan (NFL)? I am in a fantasy pool and did so miserably this week. I came in last; not a good start. You pick the winenr of each game & rank them in order of how likely you think they are to win; I didn't even get 50%!! I may need help in the coming weeks! I also like college football (and love college basketball but hate NBA) and MLB but my team is so miserable this year it's almost hard to like them (we went to the game Fri).

It's cold and rainy outside and my nose is all stuffy but damn it I'm determined to be happy!!!

I have a hair appt. today to go more blonde and had a makeup consultation last night; I found out the isn't anything they can do to make me pretty. You guys are just stuck with me how I am.

I pray I can get my magnets done today. It's going to be a long haul not letting Jeff see them. I've got crap hidden all over this house, I just hope I don't forget something.

Kelly 12hr shifts really make 8 hrs seem like nothing don't they. I'm glad you got a break before the trip.

I am doing shirts now (Alex and Lori's are in the mail today!). I am hoping to finish all of them tonight but i have to get organized again and get sizes.

I am a BIG football fan - college or NFL. Also love college Basketball and detest NBA. Don't follow baseball a tremendous amount, but like the Red Sox.

Hey there! I'm a big Jets fan and LOVE NCAA basketball. (Syracuse). My DH is not American, so he's not as passionate about the NFL as me, but he's getting into it. We're both Mets fans too...

Sorry I haven't been around much lately everybody, just trying to get my head around the impending job loss. I revised my resume and have posted it on Monster and Careerbuilder and sent it out for a couple of jobs so far. I'll do more, but right now, the thing is we (employees) have NO idea time-frame wise what we're looking at. It could be 2 weeks (just in time for my vacation which would suck becuase we're depending on my paycheck for the 2nd half on the vaca) or anytime up to 2 months....
So, I've been a bit distracted lately. I am trying to just not think about it too much and focus on the trip, but it's very hard. I'm basically the "bread-winner" in our house so it's very stressful.

Thanks for listening anyway and we'll be in WDW in 10 days, so maybe I should just try to relax but how?

another rainy cold day here in Montreal
I was looking at the airline prices this morning and had an I decided to invited my 21 y old brother to come to WDW with us (I think...) his father (mine too) suck because he never took him to WDW when he was little...

He has been so jealous of us the last couple of years for going, now I'm being a great big sister and bringing him with us

the only downside that mean that our secret trip is not so secret anymore... we didn't tell my father, he doesn't approve

I revised my resume and have posted it on Monster and Careerbuilder and sent it out for a couple of jobs so far. I'll do more, but right now, the thing is we (employees) have NO idea time-frame wise what we're looking at. It could be 2 weeks (just in time for my vacation which would suck becuase we're depending on my paycheck for the 2nd half on the vaca) or anytime up to 2 months....
So, I've been a bit distracted lately. I am trying to just not think about it too much and focus on the trip, but it's very hard. I'm basically the "bread-winner" in our house so it's very stressful.

So sorry Lori, fingers & toes crossed that everything works out & you get as much time there as possible & that you find a new job quickly, I can kind of relate, DH got laid off last year with NO warning beyond the company doing poorly, just called me in the late morning & said "Guess what". As far as relaxing, you'll relax once you get there & into the WDW setting & meet all your new friends (you know, like the elusive Alex a few people keep talking about - I don't really get who this guy is, ANYONE? Who's Alex?)

Is everyone planning on coming to the first meet up? Since I didn't sign up in time for FE I'm going to TRY to have a treat for all then but need an approximate number of kids & adults. So maybe a better question is, who isn't planning on coming. Anyone who has done this before have a guess?
