We're meeting at 3pm, right? What time is the lunch/food served at again? I don't have my DCL Passporter so can't look it up.

Does our meet time work out with the lunch time? Who is eating at Parrot Cay and who is eating outside at Whatchamacalit?

I kind of want to eat outside, but I kind of want to relax and go to PC at the same time! What is everyone else doing?!?!?


Also, did Webmeister give us his room number or anything?
I don't seem to have the important info for him and his family!! And he's not on here much these days.....

From what I understand, you eat right when you get on. I think they start boarding around noon. I am going to parrot cay. I dont get out to restaurants much so I am going to live it up as much as I can! LOL plus I am sure it would be easier for Karen. If we were actually cruising, yes, I would be up on top but since we are sitting in the port, that's where I am going.

IIIIIIII'm Back Someone go beat the crap out of the people at Office Max for me will ya!!! You talk about rude. I was so much a bother to them the moment I walk in... I wish I would have just turned around and walked out. I paid way too much for my magnets especially with the ****ty attitude they gave me. I told them about the trip and the 2 girls were like "Ya sooo". URG!!!!!

Yeah I SERIOUSLY doubt it will go far!! You konw, that is not a bad idea. We could do a GROUP trip report! Everyone add what they did that day!! That would be really cool!!!

Today I slept in until 11, I ordered some mickey ice cream bars, then headed up to Jens room to drink away my sorrows on her Verandah. Then I ordered more mickey bars After that, I headed to the Adult Pool so I didn't have to see any poop floaties in the kiddie pool...then I went back to my Roy suite and ordered more mickey bars, then I took a nap, then it was time for more mickey bars.

Just something along those lines.

Today I spent an hour researching flights for my brother. He is flying with us from Burlington but he will be going back to Montreal on Sept 30, I had to find him a flight home...

I booked the flights, bought his MNSSHP ticket. I then realized I had to change our dining ressies to accommodate him.

I called WDW to asked if I could add 1 person to the reservation, after all they sit us at a table for 6... right! wrong

Sci-fi you sit in a car (3 seat that sit 2 people = 6) they told me I couldn't add him. That seat was already taken what!!!! Once of us would have to eat with a stranger, in the dark

Apparently I would need to make a whole new reservation and everything is booked solid

Then to make matters worse I realize I total screw up my Crystal Palace reservations (the boys favorite) I reserved for sept 22



now I'm waiting for Dave to tell him. I really don't want to eat fast food all week...

And if they say ohhhh uhhhh we only have you for 5, you say uhhh well that's not my problem I made it for 6. Sounds a little dishonest, but they've actually screwed up our ressie before and we had more people than they booked us for, so I was like uhh yeah, I made it for 4 and we're eating here. We got in no problem, and that was at LE CELLIER..aka hardest reservation to get in WDW. So try that.

Or you could even just show up with 6 and say in your "oh so sweet" voice...."oh, you know when we made the reservation it was for 5, but my brother was able to meet us down here for (dinner, lunch etc.) so do you think you'd be able to set the table for 6 instead of 5? We don't mind waiting.." (yadda, yadda, yadda)

If you have time and are not in a hurry, they really should do it no problem...

It's not like going from 4 to 5 or 6 or 2 to 3 or 5....

I thought the same thing... in January we did eat at the Sci-Fi and one of the kids was sitting alone. I can't imagine that they would sit someone next to a child!!!

2 weeks from now I'll finally be in Orlando, woo hoo! Still have so much to do & being gone next week is going to suck. I guess it could be worse, i could be moving between now & then. Sorry, Rebekah, you are such a trooper! Did decided to bring my laptop next week & hope I can figure out how to use the internet with out it costing me a fortune; my boss specifically said she wouldn't pay for it.

I think I'm as done as I'm going to be with my magnets. Unless I really get the energy to do a few more. I printed a couple on regular paper but then went to card stock & those are way better so those are the only ones I cut out & put magnet tape on. I won't have the cutest door (I have the crafty skills of a turnip) but atleast if I stagger home drunk I'll know which room is mine!

As far as for lunch, last year we were at the port waiting for probably close to an hour & a half before boarding and went straight to PC to eat and were about the last table to get seated there. This year we are not going to hurry to get there so I suspect we won't get in. Plus it was a buffet which doesn't make it quite as nice as a "real" restaurant and we do eat there one night (since no Palo for us this time) and last time we nearly never (is that good English?) ate upstairs at all so that is one of my goals for this time (along with just eat more in general). DH's goal is eat more Mickey Bars (He & Rebekah will get along well).

I love the idea of a group TR! That way none of us to do quite as much as a whole one but we still have one and can prove to the workd what a bunch of wackos, I mean fun cool people, we really are.

Stephanie- How are you recovering & how's the bite?

Punk Rock Lori (one of the ways I diferentiate you from Texas Lori in my head)- Any word on the job? What do you do for the company or what are you looking for a new job doing?

I want to eat at Parrot Cay- did it in Nov and liked it, a bit easier than finding a table w/ a tray of food. They may tell you it's full, ask to wait and it's usually a short wait 5-10mins. May have to sit w/ other people- which is ok w/ me!

Hi..Thanks for asking. The latest rumor is that my boss will be out by Oct. 1. I am trying to see if I can get switched officially into our legal dept. as I help them too. Basically I'm constantly nauseous now because I'm so upset. I'm having some weight issues and I don't even have a suit that fits me to go interviewing with...
All in all, I'm not doing so great. I'm trying hard to remain positive about the trip, but knowing I might not have a job when I get back is totally freaking me out of course.

I work for a Pharmaceutical Company as an admin/exec asst....
