Okay Jen... I have a BRILLIANT idea... my mom and I were discussing this when we made my FE...and if you could figure it out, I think you'd make a ton of money, of course, I expect a cut...

So what if you made a FE with removable pockets for all the different seasons..there is PLENTY of people who sail that often. So for example, they pockets could snap on or off, or velcro, and then you would have like christmas, thanksgiving, halloween, and other pockets, all so they can change it out according to the season. You'd have to figure out main colors that would go with everything...but pretty damn smart if I do say so myself!


And I will expect one free too since it was my brilliant idea. Thank you thank you very much.

I am trying to figure out how to keep it stable enough to hold the FE gifts, and yet, come loose when you want to switch it out. But yes! Great idea because you can make money with the base, and money with the extra pockets! I will think on it. Thanks!!

Went okay, it was a phone interview...which are hard enough as it is. Now he is top 2 of 4, and has to do ANOTHER informal interview with the DM... arggghhhhh... Thanks for asking though Steph!!! I've still got my fingers crossed, and hoping it will be him...

You don't think snaps or buttons could hold it on... I doubt anyone puts anything too heavy in there. I think we can make it work, and I know, I am smart, it is a great idea!

I was thinking buttons and then maybe some Velcro as a supplement to keep small candy from slipping down. Zippers is a great idea, but hard to get on especially on the corners. Mom said she saw some Velcro that was heavy duty so that might work. She said it will take more work because you have to finish everything. But I also told her that we can charge more.

OK speaking of charging more, what should I charge for the base? My thinking is on mine, $10 for the base, and $5 each pocket. But the pockets will have to go up to at least $7 right? What do you think. Pricing is the hardest part....well that and descriptions

I think you should charge more. You normally charge how much. I'd charge $15 for the back to start and then see how popular they are. Maybe $6-7 per pocket, but I think they should be just a TAD above what you normally charge because of extra work, plus they are so cool. Will you put design thought of by hawky7 on all the back. Thanks. I want one...for realsies.

I would like it as I already have like 3FE that I change out for whatever mood I want to use and changable pockets would be pefect!!!

YAY! Well I just received a big order but she is shipping me half so I might go ahead and do what she wants me to do now, and then play around with it. heheh I'm excited!

The problem with the buttons is that it takes such a good amount of time to sew the button holes. But Then again, the price of Velco is pretty high. I will maybe do one pocket with buttons and one pocket with Velcro.

Well, I was going to have everyone pay now, and then when I had precise shipping, I would then have you guys pay again, but that is really kinda redundant so I will estimate and put it in my spreadsheet so if it is less, I will refund the difference. I think your shirt should only be maybe $2.50 shipping so just tag that on the price I gave you before and we will be good. Thanks! I took the money out of my business money and Mom is freaking! LOL
