Disney Wonder - Sept 30 2010 3 Night Bahamas

I know, I don't know if I'll make any new ones. I get really crazy and then I go crazy a little more, so maybe I'll cheat and just use all my old ones. HEHEHEHEHEH... AHAHAHAHAHHAHAH Sad you aren't going to Palo.

Door Decorating, is just something fun us DISers do. You make all these fun signs and mickey ears and all sorts of stuff to decorate your door with. Then put it either on magnetic paper or just magnetic strips on the back and they stick to your stateroom door. It is so fun!! It is the VERY first thing I do when I get on the ship. I also put up a white board with daily trivia... Lots of people use these to keep track of the rest of their party, like gone to deck 9 or, going to Adult Pool... so everyone knows where eachother is at. It's just me and DH so I like to put trivia up. Like what day did Disneyland open? What is Walt Disneys middle name? Things like that... Anywho, tons of threads on it. BUT BE WARNED... it is HIGHLY addictive, and you might go crazy like me and just spend all day until the cruise doing it, like I usually do.

I know it's sad...but we're it such a short cruise and I like the rotation....and I finally looked online tonight at DCL- they has 1st night and last night open for Palo -Fri seemed to be booked for the good times. I waited to long.

I will be making at least 1 or 2 new magnets for this cruise, but it will be good to use some older ones too.

I wanted to see how many people or to what degree you dress for pirate night. Last November's cruise priate night fell on Triton's dinner rotation and a lot of people dressed up (like formal) not piratey (if that's a word). We were semi dressed in our casual pirate offits but felt out of place at dinner. I think we may just change later into pirate t-shirts for the party.

So, who's dressing up?

OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH... I can NOT believe I forgot to tell you guys about the COOLEST Disney Cruise thing EVER.... if you already know, pretend you didn't and that you are shocked and feel so blessed that I would pass on the best piece of info ever... (after the mickey ice cream bars from room service of course) and if this is already on here, I'm going to pretend like it isn't.

Okay so, a really awesome souvenir is this... You can take a pillowcase or a photo mat or is it photo matte, anyways, to guest services on the first night with a set of sharpee markers, and you get to pick what characters will sign it! THEN on the last night of the cruise, your room steward will leave it in your room for you, all signed and ready to go!!! You can pick from fab five, princesses, and a few other things. And it is really cool!! We did the photo mat, and it is awesome. I chose to only use black sharpee so I could use a black and white picture in it, but alot of people use all different colors. So anyways, I know, I'm amazing. You're welcome in advance! HAHA

Oh yes- I forgot that part! Thank you!!! Yes, bring them a bag of candy or something as a thank you, you just give it to guest services with the item you want signed and they'll know what to do with it. Also if you do the photo mat, make sure you put a note with which direction you want the signatures based on which way you'll have the picture facing. (vertical or horizontally) And also tape a little off around the very edges so they don't sign right next to the end and then you can't see it all once it is in the frame.

We also bring candy for our dining room people, since they rotate with you and you have the same servers for your entire trip, and our room steward. Alot of people like to give them small gifts, some people even have done calling cards since most of the cast members are far away from family. Just something nice and sweet to say you are appreciated.


Jen- I figured that might be what your pillowcases were for, but I want one, and I don't want no one signing it!! It's so pretty, no no no. No one signing mine! And yes I totally bought into your shocked and surprised act. You should go into acting. I was like wait WHAT...she was faking?!?!?

I got the fabric for my FE. It is going to be just about the cutest thing ever! And I started picking up stuff for my FE gifts!!! HIP HIP HOORAY!!!
