Disney Wonder - Sept 30 2010 3 Night Bahamas

She is so not into it tonight, so she really is not trying. She has done a good job so far. Her school requires a musical instrument starting in the 3rd grade. The music teacher offered classes this summer, so she wanted to start playing. So, we are a year ahead of when they are required to start, but I'm hope this one on one time this summer will payoff.

Oh how cool! I enrolled my daughter in piano in the first grade at her school. The teacher said she didn't like to teach 1st graders but she will see how well she does. Well she was still in it in 2nd grade when I pulled her out. She was not practicing at home so I told her if she didnt practice, I wasnt going to pay for lessons. I wish I could get her back into it but if she doesnt want to...I played piano for YEARS. I love it. I dont play too much anymore but I thought she would at least take them for as long as I did. I started when I was 5 and played into my teens. LOVE it!

Prayers are going out to your friend..and you. I am so sorry for this tragedy but you know it is in God's plan. He is in His hands, just like you are :D

Ever have that kind of night where if it can go wrong, it will? No I didnt sew my finger again so no more buttons about crayons (you know who you are) :rotfl2: I am just in a mood. I have been since I got home tonight.

Thank you. It was just so tough when they had the 1st miscarriage. He looked so perfect. And, there were so many babies being born in our Church. They had been advised not to try again, but she was so desparate to have one more. She says she is doing better this time, but I just don't know. Again, just worried about them.

On a brighter note, I'm sitting here listening to the oh so beautiful sounds of my daughter practicing the violin... I begged for the piano!

It puts a twist in my gut when ever I hear of someone miscarrying. We've had a few in my family... I am truely sorry for your friend.

I'm glad to hear they push music at your daughters school. Although I've never liked the fine art classes I believe every child should learn some kind of music. There's an instrument for everyone... even spoons are an instrument. :rotfl2: My daughter's school doesn't like them to play until 5th grade. They say their bodies aren't mature enough. I was marching in formation in football games by then. I started Emma on piano this year and she is really taking off, which reminds me she's been hounding me to find my flute for her. Over the years I've purchased a clarinet and a trumpet, I'd really love to have and learn the sax. Unfortunately besides the flute I tried to self teach the other instruments. Didn't work so well... Maybe Emma can teach me when she learns. :thumbsup2

Hey guys! Nothing to say here but 78 more days!! :woohoo: or :scared1: you decide!

nothing else going here either, a very slow morning... I am very slow when it rains. This morning I couldn't wake up at all. My little came to wake me up and I said 5 more minutes please and he said ok. I woke up 45 min later, panicked, I had to rushed to get the kids to camp. When I came downstairs they had made french toast and had bfest prepared for me :goodvibes

They are so good :cloud9:, then DS pretended to poor me coffee (we don't drink it) but he always sees that in movies :rotfl:

I love my babies :lovestruc

Awww! Such good boys! Sounds like they adore their Mama! My daughter said to me last night "if you stay home from work tomorrow, I will fix you breakfast in bed." :cutie: I said "I wish! But I have a project to finish or else I would call in sick!" (I really was sick to my stomach hehehe) Dontcha just love kids?

Lazy indeed! Wish I could have laid there this morning... But, only two more working days untl I'm on vacation!!! Beach here I come for 9 days! WOOHOO! :rotfl:

LOL! Well, maybe of the beach, but not the family! You wouldn't be if you spent a week with my extended family.... My dad and our family, his 3 sisters and their families. Every year, I say this is the last year I am going, and then we go again. And, it's at my parent's beach house. Last year, we had to start splitting into two houses... Everyone with kiddos stays at my parents house (and they stay with us because we don't get on their nerves). Everyone that gets aggravated by children stay in the other house. Our house is more fun! :cool1:

LOL youre the FUN aunt huh? I'm not. I'm the "If you do that ONE MORE TIME I am going to pull YOUR hair out!!!"

I am going to "pay off" my trip tomorrow (use the ol' Disney Visa!)! Woohoo! I was going to book Palo dinner, but not sure if I really want to. I read TR where they say "we didnt do Palo because I am not into that fancy food". Well, I am not either. Some of the things they use as meat...YUCKIE! I am booked for the brunch on the 4 nighter but wonder if a Palo dinner would not be worth it. Whatcha think?

I try to be fun and let them have fun, but I'm not always the fun one, because I do discipline... I'm just not the old grouchy one! (The one that had the nerve to tell her daughter, my sisters and I that we had to leave MY PARENTS home early the next year so that just the "ORIGINAL BROTHER & SISTERS" could have time to themselves without asking my parents if they were in agreement with us leaving). Don't kick me out of my own parents house! That's why there's now 2 houses.

WOOHOO! And, I'm not into "fancy food" either... especially when the rest of the food is free (Well, technically, I paid for it, but you know what I mean...)

Are you an only child dealing with Aunts and cousins?... I wouldn't mind it. We could have fun showing each other our families... I'll go with you to the beach and you come with me to the Lake of the Ozarks... Oh I'm the baby of 6, 13 nieces /nephews, and 4 great nieces. :) My family is only fun with a friend :lmao:

I have 2 sisters, well they are step sisters, but our parents have been married for 27 years, so we consider ourselves sisters. However, they just basically walk away from the situation, whereas I let it tick me off. Girl, there is not enough space on this site to detail the major blowout we had two years ago between the families... I think because I'm the oldest of my sisters and cousins, I tend to burden the responsibilities more. But, it has been better since we divide everyone into two houses... At my parents beach house, the downstairs living area is suppose to be for all the grandchildren, but yet my uncle hides from my aunt down there and gets mad when we send the kids down there for games and movies. Fly on out here to NC and I'll show you how to drive yourself crazy...

Naw... I found out a long time ago that if youcan bring a friend/outsider in to stand in the background and quietly make fun of the situations it eases your tentions and allows you to cope better. Oh and I'm real good at being a thorn under the saddle if you like. :rolleyes1
