Disney Wonder - Sept 30 2010 3 Night Bahamas

And it was my middle finger and they decided they needed to x-ray it to see if I hit the bone. The tech was laughing her head off. I have only one set of x-rays in my whole life and they're of me shooting the bird...
:p

LOL!!! that's great. Yeah eating and doing anything with machinery should be a no-no. Especially when you throw in TV watching as well. I was just frustrated because the machine wasn't hitting where I wanted it to and I thought I hit the "STOP" button and tried to get the thread out with my finger. Ummmm it didnt stop. :rotfl2: See, I thought this was a VERY common occurance but my goodness! I grossed out the ER nurse (ER NURSE?!?!) and I got a dr to look at it within 2 minutes of me going into the room! He saw it before the NURSE did! Everyone thought it was so cool. I am like "DUH! You get people with axes in their heads but you are fascinated with a thread hanging out of my nail???"

We are flying out of Burlington , Vt. It is roughly a 2hr drive :drive: + 20 min shopping at duty free ;) + ??? time at the border...

In the past we always stayed the night before since our flight was at 9am and we traveled in January.

This time we are going in September and our flight is at 10am...

Here is my dilemma do we go the night before or drive the morning of :confused3

Here are some of the things to consider:

Parking at the airport will be 80-90$ for the week.
If we stay the night before we will use the park and fly at the hotel.

Hotel is 204$ + tax.

I'm worried about being stuck at the border and missing our flight :scared:
staying the night before would be more relaxing, we can shop :thumbsup2
But, we would only be able to leave Montreal at the earliest 4pm, it's $$$ for less than 24 hrs + food + all our shopping :rotfl:

What do you think we should do

yes, you can laugh, my DH thinks I'm absolutely crazy !!!

I have decided that anytime I have an early morning flight that I spring for the hotel and here is why.... I was traveling with a friend of mine one time and tried to talk her into staying the night before and she wouldn't do it. She had picked me up and we stayed at her house so my car could get a repair that needed to be done while I was gone. We got up at 4:30 am to leave at 5:15 and guess what wouldn't start??? Her car would not budge. We missed our flight and didn't get out until that night. We missed the first day of our trip. I so wanted to say I told you so. At least if we had been in Raleigh we still had the hotel shuttle.

I would save the money and go in the morning...The earliest you need to be at the airport is 8am which means leaving home by 6 am. You should still have 1 hour to play with. What is the possibility of being stuck at the border and why... traffic? You should be able to check traffic conditions before going to see if you have to adjust... how far is the border... I wouldn't think traffic would be bad between 6 and 630... I know it's hard but can you go to bed early. Does park and fly mean you get to park for free the whole time your gone? Going the night before cost you $204 plus shoping PLUS food... maybe minus 90 for parking, Going the day of cost you $90 minus the shopping you won't do until you get back(hehe). That looks like an extra excursion to me.

Park and fly means you leave your car at the hotel at no extra cost.

Last weekend my friend when down to the US, we check the wait time for the border on the internet- it said 10 min. In actuality it was almost 1 :scared1:

The border is approx 1:15 min away.

Bummer... hitting the border after 7 I don't think would be good.
Well then you can look at it this way... $204-90= 114 +dinner ... breakfast(poptarts)... you can eat on the ship. If you don't shop and eat cheap, you have $150-160 for an evening in town, a nice night in a hotel, and a no worries ride to the airport. I might find some way of squeezing that out of the money tree. :cutie:

Yeah. I am so paranoid that I would miss the ship (plane in your case), I am coming into Orlando the day before and staying at the Radisson. It is $116 which I am used to much cheaper, but I think it is worth it for the peace of mind. Besides, I couldnt sit around here for another day when I could be soaking up the sun (or just bumming around).

There is cheaper hotels, but not many accept 5 in a room. You do pay a little premium, not much 30-40$ more, for the park and fly.

But I think I will book the room, for my peace of mind, I can alway cancel the ressie 24hr before.

They went up on you?

I hope the suite is a real SUITE. :)

We have stay in it before. It's one bedroom with 2 double bed and a "living room" with a pull out sofa. Their is also a kitchenette.

We have only stayed once in the regular room, it was very small. We had to move the beds to fit the cot :rotfl:

This time I thought DS who hate the pull out would sleep on the floor. All week he has been sleeping on the floor in front of the AC. Last night when I went up to bed, all 3 kids were sleeping on the floor in the hallway :rotfl2:

I thought the phrase was "down"... Oh my mind is in a bad place..:scared:
did I miss something :confused3
what, where, who went down on me???
I was probably sleeping :rotfl2:

Here is the pirate dress I was telling you about.
