My birthday is Christmas day... I wouldn't want anything else packed into the holiday season. Aubrey's bday is January 7th, and even that is too close to Christmas.

NU UH!!! My birthday is Dec 27th!!

one step closer to finalizing all of our plans. Today I booked our transfers from resort to the port with Happy Limo and from the port to MCO with DCL (DH wanted to take advantage of the onboard check in). I also booked a day room at the Hyatt since our flight home is at 5pm.

WOOHOO! Gotta love the ressies! I was excited when I booked the Radisson for the day before and after the cruise! I'm on a high can you tell? I know Blanche_Neige does!

I DO TOO!! My mom made it a point to keep my birthday apart from Christmas. But I always loved it. People ALWAYS remember. But I always thought being born ON Christmas was really cool. Just to share your birthday with Jesus...AWESOME! (but I know He REALLY wasn't born on that but still cool)

My mom always did mine separate too... I love having my bday on a special day like Christmas. It is awesome that my kids want to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus and Mommy, all in the same song. I had to "train" my hubby that the birthday presents didn't need to be wrapped in Christmas paper. So, every year, my birthday present from him and my kids is wrapped in pink paper.

I still need to do that. Can I ask, why did you choose Happy Limo? I was looking at Mears Taxi... It's less than $35 from MCO to Universal.. same from Universal to Disney. We are then using DCL for to and from port. I'm really nervous about this. I have never booked or taken a taxi.

LOL I'm in and out. Trying to get everything done before tomorrow. Tomorrow I get to sit at work and wish I were home! LOL I love my job I just love my "part-time" job more!

I have never used a car service before either but since DCL doesn't offer pick up from the All Star resorts, I had to think of alternatives. I read on this board many good things about Happy Limo and I liked the fact that I could get there at the time I want (before the DCL buses) I would like to board on time for lunch with the kids.

Happy limo for 5 of us in a mini van cost 136$ (+tip) with a grocery stop.
I didn't even know about Mears...

I think Disney uses Mears(or recommends)... I thought that anyone on property could use DCL you just have to meet them at the resorts they pick up at...yeah pain in the but with luggage... I believe Disney is suppose to have us there for lunch. They pick us up at 10am.. we are the last pick up and it's an hour drive I believe... I'm only doing DCL because they say it's an awesome precursor to the cruise showing you a video of what to expect... etc. It's 100 for the three of us.. Happy limo would probably be cheaper.
