Not bad! She had herself all worked up before she even got it. The first one she yelled but the second one went better. Now we have to give her them once a week. Yuck!

Today is of those days that the wallpaper on my computer is doing me no good. It is a picture of Castway Cay-an arial shot (did I spell that right?) The blue water and the boat docked are depressing me because I can't wait anymore. We watched the DCL planning DVD last night with the kids and I think it just depressed me.

I think I need to plan something. I was thinking about making a shopping list for items I want to bring. That way I can purchase things here and there and cross them off.

What do you guys think?

I hear ya!!!!! I want to start packing NOW!!!!!!!!!!! I already figured out that the cruise falls on my weekend to work so I already told some people to keep those dates open and they look at me like I am crazy!!!!!!!!!

We got necklaces, tatoos, skull pins, a parrot, treasure chest and coins!! Lots of neat stuff!!!!!
Dont buy any tattoos we had to buy 6 dozen so if anyone wants one we can give you some!!!!

I will look there for Pirate stuff. I really think I am going to make a list. What stuff are you guys thinking about bringing? I saw a thread about "best tip". What things do you think you will bring from that?

Not sure yet what I am bringing. I was just going to bring a small bag to carry motrin and my KTTW card but that has now turned into a bigger bag because DD wants to bring her digital camera which means I have to watch it!

O.k., I asked a very reliable source about linking and getting our tables together. Read the following:

My Question:
Several of my DIS group want to link our dining rotations for our 9/3/06 sailing. Since you've sailed more than I, how would we request being linked and seated together? I look forward to your advice.

Answer #1
What you need to do is get everyone's name and reservation number, then call DCL and tell them you would like to link your dinner reservations together. It's as simple as that!!!

My Question #2:
Stupid question- will linking our reservations seat us together as well? I need a smilie w/ a mallot here.

DCL will do their best to seat you as close together as they can. It all depends on the number of families that you are linking ressies with. On our cruise for August 2006, we have about 12 families link together for dinner ressies.

Thanks for posting the info. I thought DCL will not talk to you if you booked your reservation through a TA? I will be upset if my group isn't at least at the same table as me. We have 7 in our party and I would imagine they have tables that big! I have no problem calling DCL and asking them to link me to you all. If you will (and want to be linked), PM me your last name and ressie #. If DCL won't let me then I will call my TA.

Ker-Bear, good question (I thought DCL will not talk to you if you booked your reservation through a TA), do you know something I don't know? You should be able to call DCL directly. Besides, the TA is playing with your reservations. Let me search the threads some more to see if that issue has come up before and I'll get back with you all. Thanks for volunteering. Kerry, you'll be heading up our linked tables and our DIS meet as well? Just checking.

I still assume if some one DOES NOT want to give out their cruise reservation number they can still link it to one of us and we should, in the end be linked together. IF you do not feel comfortable about giving out your reservation number just PM me.They'll still break us a part, but I'm sure we'll all be close enough together to make some (((((noise)))))! I am so excited about being with you guys!

Kerry- I'll have to look at that best tips again. There are items on the list that our family did not need last year. It was a waste to pack un needed items. I just wanted to throw them overboard!

Vicki- if your brother is linked to you and your are linked to us- wouldn't he have no choice but to sit with us???

Tom (my TA) has some strange hours. I think I will call DCL first and see what they say. If they say it has to be through TA then I will let you know. Everyone seems to have an opinion from the amount of thread links Taeja sent me. I haven't looked at them yet.

I will head up the linking and the meets (yes plural). My nomination for t-shirt leader is Vicki since she has already started searching the net. But I guess I would need a second from her!
