I will head up the linking and the meets (yes plural). My nomination for t-shirt leader is Vicki since she has already started searching the net. But I guess I would need a second from her!

I spoke to DCL in between meetings. I am sure I look very funny walking and talking and writing in my notebook! Here is my best explanation:

We can all be linked together. I now have a contact and she has asked I do not make public how this works and I promised I wouldn't. So you have to have a little faith! This is what I need:

Your last name, reservation number, cabin#, and # of people in your cabin. In addition, if anyone is linked to your reservation and you want them at the same table as you, I would need their name, cabin #, and # of people in their cabin. Each group will have their own table and all our tables will be next to each other. If the other party is linked to you, I do not need the ressie number just the name, cabin # and number of ppl in the cabin.

For example, I have 7 people in my party with three reservations. We are all linked. If I link Vicki to my reservation, anyone on her ressie that is linked to her would now be linked to all of us. It is basically a domino effect. They recommend one point of contact, which I will do. In using this example, I would make sure my group is at one table and Vicki's group is at a different table together. Their table would be next to mine.

I don't want to explain too much so if you have further questions, e-mail me or PM me. I just don't want to get to into it here and break my promise.

Vicki, if your brother wants to sit with you than he wouldn't have to provide the ressie number since I have yours. You would only have to link each other or just give me his name, cabin # and # ppl in cabin.

I am going to create a spreadsheet to keep track. We can refer new DISer's that join to this posting later.

I emailed Zazzle about that shirt we like and our saying "It's time". Here is what they said:

are available on our website and are specific to each design. This is a
part of our licensing agreement with Disney, and we are unfortunately not
able to make any exceptions. Disney images are globally recognizable, and
as you might imagine, vulnerable to people who may wish to place them with
inappropriate phrases. Unfortunately our best way of screening out such
potential problems is to restrict the sayings to what has already been
reviewed and approved by Disney. I apologize for any inconvenience this may
cause.


What we can do is buy the shirts with NO saying and then get iron-on letters from JoAnn fabric or Michael or else where and put our saying on.

That's as creative as I get today gang. If I come up with some thing better, I'll let you all know. My creativity went out the window years ago!

We could even get the printable iron on pages, type the phrase on our computer w/ which ever text, print, and then iron on the strip to the shirt. Just another thought to toss into the arena.

I have such a headache at first I was confused
I get it now!!!!
Instead of buying the letters use iron transfer paper and type what we want.
I like that idea I have the paper.
Altzheimer moment.

OK. Basically it is a picture of the Wonder at CC, I asked him if he could put a clip art of Mickey laying on a chair on the beach and write it's time.

I also found this sight. The T shirts are dirt cheap and come in lime green and they are Hanes t shirts!! Take a look.

Looks good!! Let me forewarn all of you, I stink at this kind of stuff. I will need very explicit instructions to do anything like what Taeja was recommending. I want to do it, just have no idea how!

I just realized as I was fxing up my spreadsheet that I really do not need anyone's reservation numbers until we are 75 days away from our cruise. I figured that some of you DISer's may be concerned about giving that to me for fear I might make changes (which I would never do )

So, on that note, if you want to be linked, just PM me and tell me you cabin number and number in your party. I would need all cabin numbers associated with your group. I can get the other stuff when everyone is paid in full and I really can't make any changes. I hope this will make everyone feel a little bit better. Taeja had sent me a link about this topic and some had posted the concern about giving the ressie number out.

When it gets closer, I will post again about this.

OK Are we scraping the zazzle tshirt since they wont put our saying on it ?

Are we going to design our own so we can add our saying "It's time"!!!!!!!

If this is what we are doing I think I am going to order my shirts now from that site I found so they dont run out of the color/sizes we need.
