Camera update!
We went to Office Max, where I was so sure they wouldn't have one that I actually got myself in a bit of trouble when I asked for one. Since I was planning on calling Circuit City to see if they would price match, I should have just asked if they had one in stock, but instead the lady went to the back and got me a camera, only to have me change my mind when Circuit City offered to give me "110%" of the price. So I got to Circuit City and it turns out that they meant they'd give me the same price, plus take off 10% of the difference in the prices. In this case, it was $14 difference, so they gave me $1.40 off the price. Hardly worth the gas! But the bottom line is, I have my camera!!!!
I pulled out the literature...there are 7 books. SEVEN! Three of them are in Spanish, so that leaves me four.

One is for if I want to print my pictures on a printer, so I don't have to read that right now...one says Advanced Camera Guide, so I figure I can wait to read that...
One is the software starter guide, so I guess I need to read that before I try to download to my computer. And the last one is the Basic Camera User Guide. Yikes! I'm working my way through that one, but I was running around all day so I haven't had much chance. So far, it seems pretty introductory--it has things like how to put in the batteries and the memory card, so I anticipate finishing it pretty quickly. I probably wouldn't bother to read it all, but this is an expensive camera for me and I don't want to make a mistake! I'll probably feel stupid later.
