Woke up at 6:30 to feed TJ and then drug myself out of bed to wake the mummies. DS did not want to get up at all. 1 1/2 days of school down and how many more to go?
Well, dd was excited to start 2nd grade, the teacher has crystalists and some eggs so she's excited to see them hatch. That will keep her interested in school for a while. DS survived his first day, he got in the van and said, "no red dots today mom".He did forget his lunch however, did I tell you all that already? So, lazy me went to Walmart to buy him another lunchable. I had no desire to drive back home. Walmart is my second home you know.
Patsy- great news about your transfer. hopefully, it will be for the best.
Erica- I so should read your pre trippy. I need to look forward to the future and enjoy my (virtual) cruise on a budget.
Vicki- I need to start walking again. The being pregnant excuse isn't going to cut it any more. Youngest dd commented that my "fat belly" was coming back yesterday.
Have a great day all, stay cool, hope it rains soon if you need it, and hugs to all of you.![]()
Another summer almost over....![]()
vicki- how many miles are you up to doing?
btw ladies- how do you prevent getting your grandmother's hunch back? are there any stretches or things besides posture to do?

We have 2 different walks we do the one is just under 2 miles. The one we have been doing more because I really like it it a little over 2 miles. I have to take a picture of the hill we walk up!
DD did the chrysalis thing in Kindgergarten. It was very cool! Last year, they did Clawed African Frogs. We were one of the lucky families to win the raffle to keep one. They live solely in water. It's an okay looking thing, not my favorite though!![]()
I really need to start walking, too. It's soooo hot here though. I may actually start working out at the Y when the kids are back in school. I really don't want to, but I'd better do something! Of course, if I ever get to substitute teach, I'll have to figure something else out. That doesn't seem too likely for me though.![]()
Not sure about the hunch back... I always heard posture was key but I am sure there are exercises that can help strengthen your back. Did you search the web?
