So I waited on Jessica Lynch at work today.
She had her very, very pretty baby girl with her.

Then I came home, flipped through the new issue of Glamour magazine and there she was.

Definitely a little weird!

Today I went into one of my brand new patient's room, and thought she looked farmiliar, and then she informed me that she was our hospital's risk manager. I was like
Thank goodness she's nice, because I made her hurt.

I hate that whole "I know I know this person but don't know why or where from."

I went to a family anniversary party tonight. I haven't really seen this part of the family since (maybe?) two years ago.

SIX people came up and asked me who I was. Three came up and told me they had to ask someone who I was. And two didn't believe I was 20. They'd "put money" on the fact that I was still in high school.

I chopped all my hair off again and dyed it an ashy blonde (it's cute!) and between that and being able to wear more flattering clothing apparently I am now unrecognizable.

Patsy, being unrecognizable can be a good thing. I sure wish I could pull it off at times! It's funny how people lose track of time when they don't see you often. Run with it!

Well it did come in handy last week when my district manager didn't recognize me walking through a different branch..

Have you ever had a "major" event coming up in your life that you tried to keep out of your mind to keep from getting nervous, too excited.. etc?
And then when it finally got there it hadn't really sunk in and it all seemed to be a blur and then it's six months later and you still don't know what happened?

Yep - when we bought the house. We've been here almost 2 years and it feels like we just got here!
