I am for whatever is easiest and cheapest to do. I just like the idea of wearing something (continuously) that everyone can spot and know I'm part of the group. We can keep the text to a minimum, that's fine with me as well. I like the idea of no minimum order and free shipping, that sounds like a better deal. I like the solid green or green swirl. Either is fine with me. :thumbsup2

Since I'm watching Lilo....Lisa, how's dd's hula lessons going???

WE LOVE LILO!

Hula lessons are done, now we're onto Irish Step ;) . The Hawaiian dance routines were some of the biggest hits of the whole recital. Sadly, we may not be offered it as a choice this year. The teacher has too much on her plate :sad2: . The girls had fun while it lasted, that's for sure!

Nope!

Saturday, July 15th is the cutoff to link dining, participate in the goodie bags and order a wrist band

with the new on-line check in system, I think they send the cruise docs even closer to the sail date. My understanding is 2-3 weeks prior to sailing.
We have never done on-line check in. Where can I find out more about it?

Jan :earsgirl:

you just go on-line to disneycruise.com and enter your info. If you are not a registered user, you will have to set up an account. The info you enter is your confirmation #, a birthdate for someone on the reservation, your disneycruise.com userid and the password (that you just set up if new) .

I found it there. It's basic stuff, need an emergency contact. Also put in your method of payment too.

Hi Dawn, those bracelets look fine to me - whatever is easiest and quickest. :thumbsup2 About the marriage license thing, I haven't read or been told one thing about needing one. :confused3 I'll ask some of my agency pals to be sure.

I love reading this thread, y'all (my southern drawl comes out every now and then) entertain me so much! Thanks for the congrats on my "wonder"ful day.

lunamum - I saw some pirate bubbles and thought about getting them as well. I did wonder if it would make the decks slippery though. I didn't read the other thread on bubbles, but I'm pretty sure I've read about others bringing them? I'm going to stick with candy to be safe. I also saw some fake pewter pirate rings that I'll probably get.

Another thought for the goody bags is more glowing in the dark jewelry. I don't think kids can get enough of that stuff, so maybe more than one or two people could bring some (I'll be looking for some too).

Hava a great day everyone! :sunny:

Thanks, I'd appreciate another opinion, though my husband has volunteered to drive to Denver and get the certificate for me. If we're getting it in person, then I'm not as stressed about ordering it in time to receive it for the cruise.

I stuck my foot in my mouth about the bubbles--I had heard that they were annoying, but the current thread about them is very positive, so I'm butting out now.

I totally agree about more glow-in-the-dark--I've got necklaces, but my kids love glow-in-the dark so much that if someone else showed up with bracelets or even more necklaces, I don't think it would be a problem. Even lightsticks are exciting to them. Though, if my kids have the audacity to complain about all of the goodies they're getting, I'll take them away and play with them myself. I can wear pirate tattoos, too. pirate:

I am not participating in this part,so I am hesitant to comment, but as an FYI, I ordered and received similar bracelets from the company below and they shipped very quickly. I had my my kids name, our hotel and cabin # and my wife and I cell phone numbers imprinted on them. In the unlikely event we are seperated in the Park or Ship, the kids will have these on all week. I have not been paying attention to the details,so I am not sure if this is a better deal than you have, but I was very satisfied with the product and company.. I won't be offended if you ignore this suggestion. :)

Thank you, Bill! I meant to shop around more and just plain forgot. And what a good idea! I usually get dog tag necklacesfor my kids with that information, but they're easily lost even on a chain, so I might try the bracelets instead. I'll go take a look at this site right now.

BTW, folks, if we're getting bracelets with no minimum order, do you want to order your own? Or have them sent to me and have me send them to you? I'm all about whatever's most convenient for everyone.

July 15th is the cutoff date, and we'll post the list again to make sure all the info is correct, so make sure you're on it. :) Right now we just need to know how many adult and how many kid sizes you need.

:rotfl2: Hey if anyone complains they can always be made to walk the plank....

I coach Special Olympics and at one of our end of season parties I gave all the athletes and coaches light up necklaces to wear during the dance and they were such a hit! I forgot about those type of glow in the dark things.

If noone else minds then I would like to add glow in the dark (well those string/plastic tube things that you "crack" and shake and they light up,) bracelets to my list of things for the goodie bags. Will bracelets be bad though, for little kid writsts? I think they are a one size fits all type of thing. Necklaces might be easier for adults and kids to wear.

Whatcha guys think? I got the necklaces from Oriental trading and they seemed to last a good amount of time, so will get the bracelets from there too if there aren't any objections.

I have no idea about their safety though, maybe they can break if a kid bites one and they have poison inside then I just killed someone's kid, :scared1: goodness, maybe this is a bad idea.....

That's how I feel too! If my kids don't want their toys, at least I'll have fun. :thumbsup2 Lunamom, the break sticks or necklaces sound great. :thumbsup2 I like those too...I mean my KIDS will like those too.

Wow, I'm taking a look at the site that Bill suggested, and I like it a lot. There's plenty of room for It's Time! Disney Wonder 9/3/06. There's no minimum order, though there *is* shipping on each order. The shipping info is here . They're also less expensive, at $1.99 a band. Reminderband is $1.89 but has a minimum order. There is a charge for using the back half or the inside of the band, but we wouldn't need to use them because our phrase fits. The green is a little iffy--it looks very dark.

Well, my husband says I present too many options to people, so I'm sorry if I'm overwhelming people. :rotfl: I'm sitting at home bored because I've somehow managed to contract chicken pox a second time! :confused3 :faint: :scared:

I looked at both sites and both seem fine to me.

I am guessing that it is easiest for us if we all just agree on a phrase and do our own ordering, so we can do sizes and pay and don't have to worry about paying you back, or trying to get them mailed to us, etc. Less work for you I am guessing. I'm sure the company we order from would like to just get one order and be able to just pop out the whole order at once, but who knows. It doesn't matter to me, just so long as I know where to order, what to get etc.

I feel bad asking this  because I am jumping on board so late in the game, but would it be possible to add the date to the wrist bands? Then the band is specific to this cruise? I am guessing the current phrase was chosen because of space limitations, and it is great as is, so no biggie, was just "wonder"ing. :teeth:

Well usually they come with little connectors that can be used to connect them to each other as well, so even if the bracelets don't fit we can add them to each other or the necklaces to make them fit. I think as far as safety goes, the usual "Ages 3+" applies. I'm pretty sure we don't have any under-threes on the list at this time. Am I wrong?

Thanks for the input, Dawn. I was thinking that maybe the bracelets might be too big for kids, like might be falling off all the time? rather than being too small.... what do you think?

Wooohooo! I got the fabled 3000th post! Go me!

:cool1: :woohoo: :dance3: pixiedust: party: 3000!!!:cool1: :woohoo: :dance3: pixiedust: party:

I think that the bracelets might be big on some of the kids, but I don't think it will matter.

And you're not a doofus--I was writing that post while you were writing yours, so you couldn't have seen it.
