OOHHHHH! Can we come too? I will bringing the ingredients to have Tropical Lifesavers. They are yummy :cool1:

I think I will also bring a bottle of flavored vodka. I love Absolut Peach mixed with Sprite Zero and some orange slices.

Okay, I need a cocktail....

Now I remember what I wanted to post.....has anyone looked at disneyshopping.com at the create your own tees? You can get kids, mens and women's sizes (they have a cute fitted shape) all with the same colors AND add your name. I think it was in the $15-20 apiece.
$3.99 sounds much better, lol. There is always a sewing machine to make the ladies shirt fit better ;)

I just looked at those yesterday. They are on sale. 9.99 for the adults (they come in ladies tees) and 12.99 for the kids. My problem was that for 5 tees it came to $53.00 plus another $8 for shipping. I about choked even though it works out to $12.00 a shirt. I think I have gotten really cheap as our cruise gets closer. It's just so much stuff to buy!

My other issue is I'm not sure I can actually "make" anything. I lack creative skills. :sad2:

Help me out fellow cruisers: how much is a box of the iron on paper? The tee's plain will cost me about $25-30 (with shipping) so if the iron on paper is really expensive and puts it close, Disney may get the business

How old is your DD? Mine will be 10 and 4 when we travel. My DD would love to fish and stuff also. We are going to try and hit the parks the first couple of days but then I think it is going to get real crowded the closer to the holiday weekend it gets. :cool1:

She's 8

I'm not sure maybe 10-15 dollars.

Here's some more information to get you confused. Over on the DDA Designs forum these ladies who make/ create iron transfer designs frequently use this ebay seller to buy their transfer sheets. I'm not seeing her shipping charges. I've read that you use light colors for light colors, but the dark transfer paper makes darker colors more vibrant. Here's the link. I'm trying to type as my son is coloring right in front of the computer monitor. http://cgi.ebay.com/HEAT-TRANSFER-F...hZ017QQcategoryZ26253QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem. She sells transfer paper for injet and laser jet printers. I'm hoping to get an answer about her shipping charges soon. I'll keep you all posted.

It's just the paper right? Thanks for letting me know about the shipping. Everyone will wear the shirt as long as it's not lime green. :confused3 I am trying to make my own design up cuz the Pirate one got shot down. Why do I have the need to please people? :rolleyes1

Man oh man! There has been a lot going on here! At this rate we could hit 3000 posts by umm.... tonight? :lmao: I couldn't possibly comment on EVERYTHING so I better just sum it up by sayin, I hope everyone and their families are getting better/feeling great and surviving the weather!

You guys all crack me up! What a great place to go to get a laugh and get excited about our upcoming trip.

I can't believe how close it is getting. Sounds like as the excitement builds everyone's shopping starts swinging in to high gear. If I had any money at all I would be right there with you all - just got the brakes on my truck fixed yesterday and 1,000 dollars later am able to drive, of course my truck is only worth about 1200 so I want to scream, but I find stopping a nice feature for my vehicles so you do what you gotta do - VISA say hello to Mr. Mechanic... oh well as Jan said, could always be worse....

Besides I'm going on a Disney cruise in a few weeks, who can complain! :goodvibes

I am pretty lost on the t-shirt discussion but am guessing that at some point we were going to try to all have matching lime green t's?

I was thinking of buying pirate bubbles for our DIS group to use at the Sailaway party, I read on a different thread that sometimes people blow bubbles then.... are we meeting before the party or something where I could pass those out? Is this already being planned by someone else? Goodness, I can't keep up!

Well take care everyone, not too long now! :woohoo:

I would recommend NO bubbles. I've read that they're a huge nuisance to the people around you, and they make the deck slippery.

Kerry, I don't know what happened on the list, but I'll update it.

My brain is fried from trying to get a copy of my marriage certificate. It seems that no one has a copy of it except the county where I bought it--NOT the county where I was married, unfortunately--and I can't find the information for that particular county. I've got a lead, but if I'm wrong, they'll take my money and charge me extra for irritating them. :furious: I did manage to get some birth certificates, but my husband is not being helpful about his. If he'd just cough up the $400 bucks for the passports, I wouldn't have to do all this work... :rotfl: Anyway...guess I'm just griping because I'd rather be shopping!

Dawn

I got my Disney stuff today. I forgot with them how everything is huge my DD's(4) bathing suit is too big. Mine is too big. The t-shirts are big and pre-shrunk. I am returning the bathing suits tomorrow for smaller ones. If anyone is going to order beware and order one size down. The dress was good and it is 100% cotton. The dress was not pre-shrunk. We also got the flip-flops for by the pool and stuff. They are comfortable and only $3.99. Not as comfortable as my reef's but you can't beat the price.

Do we need a marriage certificate for the cruise? Or are you getting it for something else. Please no!

Well, I saw a thread about bubbles on the Cruise Line Forum, and everyone there seems very positive about bubbles. So what do I know? :confused3

I've heard that you *ought* to take your marriage certificate, but it's not necessary. I would feel better about it, because my married name doesn't match my birth certificate. I would feel best about a passport, but I can't rationalize the added expense at this point. All of the threads I searched, however, had a lot of people saying they weren't even asked for a marriage certificate, and none saying they needed it at all. So it's probably an unneccessary annoyance, but I'm being paranoid right now. Nothing worse than getting there and being told you can't board. :sad2:

I had the same problem last year. I can't recall if they asked for my marriage certificate or not, but I had it just in case. We ended up getting passports this year to save the hassle of carrying documents around. Plus, might be nice to go to Europe or something......ah, dreams.
:cloud9:

I could have sworn today was Thursday, aaaaaaaallllll day. *sigh* Now I have to get up tomorrow and do Thursday all over again.
Why isn't it September yet?????? :confused3

Vicki- lol it's getting harder and harder to catch up around here :cool1:

My poor house may never get clean :rotfl2: My dh keeps walking by me on the laptop and shaking his head :rotfl:

Suzanne
This cracked me up. If DH had any idea how much time I spend reading this thread and a couple others :guilty: but they are so much fun and sometimes people ask questions to which I have answers!! :thumbsup2

Here's hoping the waterlogged areas are draining well--Florida, Caribbean, New England states, New York's Mohawk Valley..... :wizard:
Jan :earsgirl:

Speaking of water-logged we got 4 inches of rain today. It just poured the whole day. So many roads are flooded they were advising no uneccessary driving. :sad2: It's over now and supposed to be sunny and in the 90's for the next 4 days so I hope everyone makes out ok :goodvibes
