I am freaking out :earseek:! My eyes hurt! I'm sick of typing! I've been working on the pictures (getting them on a host site) and then getting some auctions going on eb ay . Here's a link to one of them. first of listings Please tell me what I've done wrong or right b/c at this point, I don't know any more, and really won't care until tomorrow. Augh! I put all the photos on photobucket and find out Ebay went to my computer directory directly instead. AAAAaaahhhh!

Ooooh, tops for me! :woohoo:

Bill, did you get in yesterday? Will you and your family be dining in royal fashion?

I finished my taxes yesterday,so our refund will help pay for the trip.
I was lucky enough to Cinderella's Castle breakfast for my Daughter and Wife (the boys wanted no parts of it), and so far every Priority Seating I wanted I received... I have to call today to try for the last two, one being the Fantasmic dinner show at MGM..I never saw it before, but I hear it's a good show...

The one thing I did learn this weekend is that the "cruise side" of Disney does not talk to the "park" side of Disney. I tried to add the Disney Dining plan to my land portion, as well as a Magical Gathering event, and it could not be done. The land people do not even have the cruise conf # in their system, and I booked directly with Disney.. It is amazing to me that they are not integrated more. As two of my kids are 9yrs old, I could have saved a few $$$ with the Disney Dining Plan.... Oh well, my lesson has been learned, and next time I will know better...Overall..things are starting off pretty well so far....

Glad to hear you got the dining preferences that you wanted. It's really too bad you can't add the dining plan or the Magical Gathering event. I wonder if there's another way around it. Anyone know? You may want to post the question on one of the other boards and see if anyone has a suggestion. I'd like to look into the dining plan myself, we have seasonal resident passes and I think it would really pay off. I don't know much about it but from what I have read, it sounds good.

GOOD LUCK with your eBay auctions, TaeJa! Your auction looks good to me. I have sold a few things over the past couple of years and I did pretty well. There was one auction where I UNDERcharged shipping. I learned my lesson the hard way. All in all though, it's always nice to see money coming IN to my PayPal account as opposed to me always pulling money OUT. :rotfl2:

The only way around it is to cancel and rebook cruise/land seperately. At this point, there is about a $1,000 diff from when I booked and now, so it is not worth it. It just seems odd that there is not better coordination, as it is one company, and a land option is offered. It does not seem like that big of a strech...

I was wondering how many items everyone is picking up as far as the cruising goodies go? How much of an allowance are you making for the addition of other kids to our list? Are we supplying goodies for all the kids on our cruise list or just the kids signed up for the cruising goodies?

I've only picked up items for the kids signed up on the list. I just wanted to ask, would about 70 Mardi Gras beaded necklaces be enough???? I can't believe my fortune today at the Goodwill. I saw the beads in the cabinet, but wasn't sure...She took out the the container and the price for the whole lot was on top. $4.99 for 70+ beads. There are a few I have to fix, but hey I think I did good. No flashing to get your necklace if you know what I mean :scared:. I'll be handing out the beads to the kids, priority one, and their parents. The rest, we'll see....

O.k., I won't let you all know what my favorites are until later. If you dig in my threads you might be able to find my favorite, but I'd love to see what you all think first...So, keep posting your favorites so I can post mine! :hourglass

LCT's mom- thanks for your reply on my Ebay listing. I was wondering if you all didn't like any of it since I didn't see any replies about it until recently. Well, I've got a couple watches going and ONE bid! I'm so excited. I was running around the house yelling to Brandon, "I've got a bid! I've got a bid!" I'm going to being prepping the listings for my other clothing items and then release them for auction slowly. I've got over 130 items to sell of just the girls clothes. DS clothes will be next except the DCL shirt I want to get listed quick.

Bill, you are right. Disney should connect their computer systems some how. Its not like it can't be done in this day and age. Crazy. The extra you'll be spending just contribute to the added special memories when you sit down to dine. I know you will do great finding other bargains and savings other places to make up for it.

LCTsMom, my personal opinion is to pick up items for the kids that are signed up. If more kids sign up, we can do several things at that time to make sure they get goodies, too. Some of the things we're picking up come in such volume that there will probably be plenty no matter what--for example, Tae Ja's necklaces, or Vicki's pirate tattoos (I'm pretty sure those came in a lot of 144). So, if we get new kids added, it's just a matter of figuring out what we need more of and picking someone to get it--I think we'll be covered in any eventuality.

Tae Ja, I'm sorry! I went to look at your eBay auction and it distracted me, so I forgot to comment on it. It looks great! You're an inspiration--I think I'll start going through stuff and putting it on eBay! :thumbsup2

I think, for the business giant that they are, Disney is not very technologically "with it". I think the navigation on their websites leaves a LOT to be desired, and I know that the seperate theme parks don't even talk to each other. How hard would it be to hook them up in this day and age? Even the Disney catalog's website isn't terribly easy to use, IMO, and they really need to have a good website now that they're not connected to the Disney Stores.

Hey, feel free to bid too! Good morning every one!

:wave2: Thanks for the replies as to who to buy goodies for. Since most of the stuff out there is sold by the dozen, we will pick up two dozen and go from there. There are 13 kids signed up so that would give us quite a few extra pieces for add ons.

The pirate tattoos came 144. The maps and flags I picked up were 2 dozen I think. By the way the last 2 items came today!! :thumbsup2

I made popcorn several bags back and dropped a piece on my kitchen floor. Well, look what shape fell. I threw it away, but DH said maybe I should've saved it and sold it on Ebay. :rotfl2: He was serious. :lmao:
