DD woke up today with PINK EYE ! I could just scream

Having had pinkeye many many times I thought I'd share a secret that I learned. Boil a small amount of water in a pot on the stove. Add salt. As the water cools, soak cotton balls in the salty water. While still warm, apply a wet warm cotton ball to each eye, several times a day. It will usually kick the pink eye quickly. I have found this to work better than the prescription eye drops we have gotten. Repeat frequently with a fresh salt solution and clean cotton balls.

Thanks everyone!!! I will try that mixer. Although I noticed a cut on her lid so the salt might burn. She was really good yesterday. She woke up the morning and it looks like its in the other eye! When it rains it pours!

Sure,Why Not... I have 3.5 days to do everything in the 4 parks with 3 kids and wife...I won't be in the room much at all except to crash.........Just don't touch the mini-bar..........

Ohh, two rooms to crash! This would be one way for me to get to know Tammy and her family better.

Just from reading the Boards, a lot of folks say there is a lot of animal activity, and I think its close to the pool..I have never stayed there, ot in WDW for that matter...We stayed offsite last time around..looking forward to it!!!

We only stayed there one day and spent the whole time at AKL. So I dont know about the buses to the park. They have TONS of activites for kids and the staff is wonderful. Talk with them especially the ones ouotside near the animals. We met a girl from South Africa and talk with her for over an hour. It was very interesting! Walk around the hotel! It is beautiful. HAve breakfast at the BOMA and get the Frunch They have one of the staff members at night talk about the part of Africa they are from-very interesting. They have different activites for the kids and when they complete it they get a bead to make a necklace! Have fun! any other questions let me know!
We have stayed off property once and will never do it again. I love staying at Disney. You will too!!!!!!

It is a very nice hotel. So is Wilderness lodge. We stayed there and now it is my favorite!
