I've been browsing online to see which stores to hit tomorrow. Is any one else going out before the crack of dawn to shop? Sure wish we could all shop together . Maybe I'll find some cruise items????

So, what is every one getting this Christmas? Most of my family (both sides) are receiving gift certificate cards except for our nieces. I'm (partially) wimping out to not buy a present that's bigger than the size of a credit card. ha ha ha.

So, did any of you have any unusual Thanksgiving dishes this year? When I talked w/ my mom, the only thing different she had was fresh cut pinapple. Can't get that right now in INdy.

Any way, oh how I wish I was on the Thanksgiving cruise.

I got DH a case for his digital camera so he can use it underwater. He wants to scuba in Nassau.
DD is getting a rescue pet and a United states game. DS is way to hard!

No unusual dishes but our Pumpkin pie isnt a traditional one. It is more like a mousse.

Okay, my parents home is about 45 minutes from the port. I so want to drive there today so we can see the Magic. Unfortunately, we have lots planned today and that side trip would only probably cause my DS to go into obsessive mode. If the cruise was a little sooner I would go. Get him all pumped up!!!!

I left with my mom to go shopping at 5am yesterday. She got lots of great deals. I merely went so that I could secure my hard to get items and have her keep & wrap all Santa's goodies. I did get a couple of things at a pretty good discount. Don't have the opportunity to shop alone since I have limited capabilities (elbow-still not able to lift anything) We got home at about 10:45am. I then ordered the Mickey Mouse Silver MP3 player online. It will take 3 weeks to ship. Boy is that cutting it close! Must be a hot item for them this year. I don't think it's being sold in stores. Disney has free shipping if you purchase more than $75.00 plus lots of sale stuff. I got music to go with the player, PJ's and slippers, so I am fairly excited.

Well, it will be a high of 76 today with clear skies.

I have no idea what to get anyone! The toy thing is already out of control in my house so I hate to add to the craziness for my 5 year old DD. My boys wanted the xBox 360 but we weren't able to get one. Figures. I guess it will be gift cards for us, too. Bummer though, it would be nice to get them something that they could open! I don't know what to get DH either. He's an avid Star Wars collector but I don't think there's much that he doesn't already have (that's affordable, anyway )

It's hot here in SW Florida! We had a couple of "cool" days (50s ) but it's back in the 80s again. I hope it cools down again before Christmas!

Is anyone thinking about doing the martini tasting? Do you think that would be a great DIS group thing? Obviously for adults only.

Can we do both? I know I am willing to give it a try! if you go to the forum there is a thread about the chocolate martini recipe. That's where I found out about the tasting. Saw a couple of recipes that look yum!

Yes, the champagne and strawberries are from 5:30-8pm I think in the atruim.
