I have been looking into getting a new camera. I love my Canon Powershot A40.
I researched and decided to upgrade to the Powershot A520. Found it at a really good price 151.00 at Stargatephoto.
Here's where things go bad and warning bells go off!!!
After you place the order on line they want you to call them to confirm! I did (made hubby talk but they wanted me). Tried to sell me memory cards for it, told him NO I have one. Wants to now sell me rechargeable batteries-DO NOT use Energizer or Duracell-read the manual and it says ok to use them- 4 batteries with the charger 99.00 Walmart has it for 10. I said NO I have some. Now come the warrenty. Told them NO I want the one with the camers-he says there isnt one! Still said NO!! He says if it gets broke then it's your problem!
So we say ok and hang up! Now I am really thinking this isnt good! I go to their website, under order status cancelled. DH calls they dont have it but it is listed as being in stock on their website and another!
YEAH RIGHT!!!! I didnt buy anything so they cancelled!
What a bunch of CROOKS!

I do not imagine that they are a reputable company. If they are, I would print the screen showing order cancelled and write down the time and date that you spoke to someone. I would then call and ask for the manager. Not a supervisor or call center team leader or anything like that. Someone in charge, preferably with Vice President in the title.

I'm having a stinky day too! My idoit ex-husband is a complete jerk!!!! He is actually trying to get his attorney to petition the court to bar me from going to my son's soccer games on his weekends!!! Not that this would ever happen of course but that is not the point. And to think, he wonders why I don't like him or ever want to talk to him.

Sorry, my head is about to explode and if I do not calm down I will walk across the street to where he works and just scream at him. Not too good of an idea but I am not sure I can take much more of this! Only 12 more years to go

Sorry, you all sound like you are in happy marriages. I know my boyfriend is a gem and to be frank, he is better with my son than his own father and I am blessed beyond words. I just wish that I could make the frustration over his lack of parenting not bother on the occasion.

Tim Finished the designs!!!!! He is still working on one but here's the finished ones!!!!!

He is still working on the globe Mickey with it's time!!!

Tim did a great job. This one is my favorite. How goofy to have Goofy in his inner tube on the beach. The only suggestions I have is to have the running Mickey w/the Its Time (maybe in a Disney text) in the center of the beach (just like post 669). Unfortunately, the other characters would have to be shuffled around so they're not hidden.

An addition I would make is to put "DISney Wonder" (on one line) and "September 3-7 2006" (below the DIS Wonder phrase) right in between the two plam frongs above the Wonder in the sky.

Those are only design suggestions I have. If I had the program I'd help you out...unfortunately, I do not, sorry.

I can't wait to see what Tim comes up with for the Mickey globe. Vicki- Do you have the program to make those too??? Wow! How cool!

Aaack! We fell to the middle of page 2! I thought for sure posting the sparkly siggy thread link would inspire lurkers to post here. .

Any one have PBS Sprout? Some thing to get used to, but at least my DS can watch Thomas and Bob the Builder again.
