First of all thank you. God blessed me with four beautiful children. I'm sure OB's have seen it all, but I was posting up to the point where my Epidural ran out (the last post when I was 5cm) and couldn't stand the pain any more. Now I know why I couldn't stand the pain, my med ran out! I didn't want t.v., I'm not a reader, so posting was perfect. The nurses were facinated about how many people I was posting with and from where.

I verbally laugh or make noises when I read posts, so the nurses were getting real curious as to what I was typing and reading.

Baby's good, he got his pee pee whacked as one nurse put it earlier today so TJ is super tired and clingy.

..does anyone know how to change the settings so that your font style/color/size are something special for every post? I know Heidi has it set to where its all pink and a special font and I was wanting to do that.. but can't seem to figure it out. Prolly right in front of me.

DH here: You can click on the post number (at the upper right corner of every posting) and this will open a new window with a URL address. You can then click on that address text (it should then become highlighted) and press CTRL-C to copy it to the Windows Clipboard (yup, I am assuming Windows on a PC). You can then add this as an HTML link in your next post using the little "globe & chain" icon (in the message header bar above the text you enter), which opens a pop-up window in which you insert this address; in this window, enter CTRL-A and CTRL-V to select all and paste from the clipboard. You can see my example here! There is a [post=18769656]this message[/post] tag in the vB code set (the forum text formatting language), but it will simply link to the specific message within the full thread ([post=18769656]like this[/post]).

I assume you want to set a pretty pink font for all your posts as the default? Of course, the format bar provides the text modifiers. It is easiest to simply highlight the text first and then click on the Fonts, Sizes, and A (for color) boxes.

Good question, but I could not find a setup in this forum to set a default on these settings for each account, so maybe you simply need to set them when you open the message editor. You could create a small text file on your computer with the vB tags that you like and simply cut-n-paste its contents into the message window. Try a template file like this:

[COLOR="Magenta"][SIZE="5"][FONT="Trebuchet MS"]

..... Type your message here!

[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

Hmmm, you could have predefined formatting for any mood du jour:

BTW, you can change the default editor for your account under the User CP -> Edit Options page; scroll down to Miscellaneous Options and choose a Message Editor Interface. It may be easier to see the text as it appears rather than with the vB formatting tags inline. Or, perhaps, PM Heidi to get the solution...

LOVELY PHOTOS!! What an adorable family.

We are home from our whirlwind trip to New York. DS got married Saturday to DG (Darling Girl). They made a CD of favorite music and gave all the guests copies. The first item is the DISNEY SHIP'S HORN ("because that's where it all started") which is not quite true since they had been dating for a while and had chosen the ring together before our cruise, but OUR WONDER CRUISE is where he officially proposed.

Wedding was lovely. On the sand. Her gown was gorgeous, and she walked barefooted to the beach on the sidewalk and in the sand with the TRAIN DOWN! DS wore sandals with his tuxedo. DS#2 was Best Man and he also wore sandals but with slacks, shirt, tie and jacket--very dressed up--for him.

It had been drizzling all day but stopped for the wedding. NICE!!
