And just in case anyone wants to know...I just received word from Holly saying that we are probably going to Disney World in May!:goodvibes

WOW.
I showed it to Lionel and he said NO WAY. I said WAY! :rotfl:

:lmao: I know! I mean I knew it was tiny and all being there and every day I was like geez that castle is SMALL! But I was looking at the pictures and I was like sheesh did it shrink some more??:lmao: The Matterhorn is bigger than the castle! I don't think they'd make ANYTHING bigger than Cinderella's castle in WDW.:rotfl:

I finally started working on the rest of my scrapbook from our first cruise in 2005 this afternoon and I almost got all teary when I opened it. Originally I was only going to add a few more pages and be done with it, but now I've decided to make it a little bit bigger and then add a few pages from each subsequent cruise. It'll be like memory lane......

I realized I only have four pictures of Nassau, and I've been there twice. :rotfl2: Oh, and all of them were taken FROM THE BOAT :lmao:

I'm hoping this little hobby gets me through until we can book. :woohoo:

I made a 62 page memory book on Shutterfly.com. I had a blast putting together my pictures. I was able to put over 200 pictures in it. I carry that stupid book with me in my car. I love showing it off to people, and when I wait for Teia on car line at school, I look at it and relive our wonderful cruise! :lovestruc

I really wanted to go to that staircase thing in Nassau

(Sorry I popped back in post-shower!)

My girls liked Del Sol and then we realized there was one in the airport. My girls were terrified in the straw market. They were gripping on for dear life. Too many people talking to them and too crowded for them I guess:confused3

We didn't get off the ship in 05 because it was a beautiful day and we had the goofy pool to our selves. Although I really think the ship was much less crowded in 5/05 as opposed to 9/06

There ya go Lisa.
Stuff like that has always interested me-- I lived in a town in KY for awhile that was a big part of the Underground Railroad-- there were buildings just down the street from with hidden doorways and latches in the floor where Slaves were stowed away. So I'm fascinated.

I used to be obsessed with the underground railroad. my mom took me to a play abput Harriet Tubman as a teen and it just made such an impression on me. it still amazes me today what we did to those people just because of the color of their skin:sad2:

The Straw Market is right down the street from where the ship docks. I had been there many years ago. It's really not important for me to go back, I'd much rather stay on board. I'll get off if Logan wants to but I'd like to get back on quickly while it's semi-empty.

The Pirate museum was cool, but now that we've done that, I've no interest in going back.

That's very cool, Patsy. Thanks for the link. I hadn't heard of that! :goodvibes

Have a great night!
