John's dad went a few years ago while his cousin was there for 2 years working. He climbed that huge bridge and has some awesome pictures. He really loved it there.

My DH has family there. I read somewhere that Australia has a very high Greek population. (DH's parents are from Greece.)

If I was rich that is what I would do just travel all over the world. I could even see staying in the house I have and just stopping by in between trips. I love to see new places and people just fascinate me:goodvibes

It would be awesome to see the different cultures. I have friends in Ireland who always tell us to visit. It would be interesting to stay in their house and not be too much of a tourist.

That's just it, you get to see so much more when you stay with people who are from there or stay for a while. Just going for 2 weeks you see the "tourist" life only.

Here's a question... where was your cabin last time and would you book the same location again? We were in 2 connecting secret porthole rooms and they were perfect for us! I'm concerned that I may not be lucky enough to get them again so I'm curious to hear where everyone else stayed (and which category).

In 05 we were in 8002 (cat 4) We loved this locatin all the way forward and loved being on deck 8. In 06 we upgraded at the port to 5646 and5644 which were all the way aft and for some reason made TONS of noise when the ship was moving fast at night. It felt like the whole room was shaking. And while we had 2 verandahs for a great price they were a solid walled verandah and not as nice as the clear.

I wonder how hard it will be to get what we want. :confused3

I would be happy staying anywhere on the ship and wouldn't mind an inside stateroom at all, but John REALLY likes the verandah. He used it way more than me because while I was running around trying to get myself and 3 girls ready for anything (dinner, shows, excursions, meals)he would sit out there and just relax and enjoy.

I was really thinking about the inside staterooms but I think if I could, I'd like some kind of porthole. We have only had the obstructed portholes, no verandahs, so we don't know what we're missing. I will have to do my homework and see which porthole rooms are the cheapest if I can't get the SPRs again.

Will your Mom be coming again?

Who knows. She says no but I would still probably try to book connecting rooms. If she decided to come, we'd have the room. I am afraid to broach the subject since our finances are really tight and she'd KILL me if she even knew I was thinking about booking another cruise.

Don't do that!!! Save your money for the cruise because you'll get one for free when you cruise!!!;)

Yeah but by then they might have changed it!:confused3 I use my other one every day, it's my keychain.

Can't find a way to make it part of next years Christmas presents or something????:rolleyes1 I'm sure Grandma wants to get everyone something they really want right??
